This place is amazing!! Everything is home made and EXCEPTIONAL quality while still being affordable, which is so rare these days. The owner is incredibly kind, and you can tell how much love he pours into his food. I heard he is there every single day making the food himself so you know he keeps high standards! I got the jerk chicken bowl, and my friend got the pulled pork and mac. We ended up sharing because they were both just so good we wanted both of them lol. The jerk chicken was cooked well and had a nice kick. I really appreciated how the beans and rice had their own flavor profile that wasn’t bland while also not overpowering and took the whole dish to a new level. The pulled pork was literally the best I’ve ever had. We accidentally ordered no bbq sauce which we were sad about, then realized it actually doesn’t even need it because it’s that juicy and flavorful (although I’m positive the sauce would have been next level also). At some point in time I might change my mind and actually come back and try this place. I was going to order a premade bowl that came with a sauce and a side. If I wanted dressing for my side salad I had to pay for that. It was also going to charge me for the sauce that it said I get along with the bowl. At this point in time I was nearly 19.00 for the bowl and when I asked why there was no dressing with the side salad and what happened to the free sauce I was told it was an upcharge. if youre looking for homestyle food and a quick, no mess setup you HAVE to stop in here! From their hassle-free ordering system to the wide selection of dishes this place keeps it easy and functional. I personally wanted to try the "build your own" bowl to get alittle bit of everything but I also got recommended the "sausage and pepper" bowl. Let me tell you something, both of them were out of the park!
