We had been to this 10 years ago and were hankering to get back. It runs Friday late afternoon til Sunday around 5. It’s chock full of arts. Beautiful, clever, and whimsical kind of things. You might not think of brooms as artistic, but I got one that’s just that and very functional. I got a fun pair of colorful hand twisted wire earrings. It’s blocks and blocks of really nice arts and crafts. All day long there is a beer garden and live music. Daune Betts was what made my husband want to come so bad. It was worth waiting till later in the night to hear. The music is free and they get lots of national and local talents. Put this on your list of festivals to hit.

This is an annual excursion for me for several reasons. First, the art is top-notch and varied. There's something for everyone here. You can tell by the people that attend. It's a relaxed atmosphere that young and older will enjoy. Second, all you have to do is say hello and the artists are eager to share knowledge of their craft. You can tell they love what they do! And some of them were actively creating new works of art on site! This is an outdoor event where the streets are blocked off while the sound of music music and the smell of kettle corn filled the air! Free to attend, but parking can be difficult. So just be sure and pack your patience. It's worth it!

Volunteering this weekend, double shifts all 3 days. Bringing out of town family and meeting friends there this afternoon. Beautiful sunsets and moonrise. Lots of smiling happy people. Beer garden. Largest all volunteer festival in Ohio. Kids zone, teen area. Local and international artists and visitors. Fabulous experience!

This is a great festival, but really busy. It can be difficult to find parking. There is live music, fair food and plenty of art booths. This is a great place to bring kids, at the North end they set up a family zone, where kids can make and take many craft projects for free. They even have a tie dye area that cost $4-6 for a...
