Heavenly Pizza Bowling Green — Restaurant in Bowling Green

On 08/29, we had a take out order at 5:15 p.m. when we got there there was a huge line. which is not their fault, it's Friday at a pizza place, we understand. After waiting about 25ish minutes. We get to the register, and ask for our order. They said that there some issue and they cannot find our order, asked us if we wanted to order now, and that they'd get that started ASAP, with a 20min wait time. We said sure since we already waited half hour. We kept waiting, after 30ish min, my gf asked if it was ready, they said they're almost done. After another 30ish min, when my gf asked again, they some how found the pizza that we had ordered for 5:15 and just handed it to my gf. It was cold and had been sitting for 2 hours at that point. It is beyond me how you're allowed to treat customers like that. While I understand the dinner rush, the least you could do was look around when we first came in, the second least you could do was give us the second pizza we ordered, the third least thing you could do was apologize and give us a free one or throw in a 2l pop, but they just handed cold pizza to my gf. After 2 hours of waiting, all we got was cold pizza.

We were furious, I wanted to have good pizza so I went to jets and threw the cold one in trash... I waited 2 weeks to write a review because I didn't want my anger to show. Now, I'm just disappointed. While I understand there was a crowd, this is no way to treat customers while you're trying to make an impression in a new town. You are professionals, you prepare for these situations. Imagine if the cell network went down at homecoming because of a crowd. Truly unacceptable. I mean it...

Ordered a pizza for delivery yesterday (10/18/2025) at around 6:00PM.

The delivery driver was very sweet, met with a smile.

The pizza's flavors were very good, but it wasn't hot, which I'm assuming is due to the 1 hour delivery time, but I guess it was a Saturday so that may be expected.

I reheated a couple of slices later on in the night, and upon taking a bite of one of them, I had to immediately spit it out and almost got sick. I'm unsure if one of the cooks wasn't wearing gloves, or if they dropped ash in it, or spit in it as a smoker, but it tasted and smelled exactly like a cigarette.

It helps that the place is a Christian establishment, I love the logo and pizza box, but I don't know if I'll be able to get it again.

Maybe try a different location for faster delivery time and better...

This place is nostalgic for me as I grew up eating Heavenly Pizza from the Findlay location. I moved to BG a few years ago and have been craving their antipasto salad and homemade dressing ever since so I was stoked that BG was getting one! That being said, I was slightly disappointed… the cheese was completely missing from the toppings, and the other toppings were incredibly skimpy compared to what I’m used to. The dressing seems slightly different but still good. The garlic BBQ chunks were yummy.
