The toddler and I got there at that awkward time of when they're switching menus. Which isn't a big deal. We wanted the lunch menu but we 6 mins too early. They told us would be at least 10mins... OK so we got breakfast items. Anyways they didn't have a bagel for my meal so I just asked for a refund for my meal. The regular staff was nice but the manager/supervisor not realizing I was standing of to the side made a to do about it. Was short with the hourly worker about what was going on she didn't understand I guess. So I finally said I'm right here to which she changed her tune and attitude. She had me reslide my card to which I questioned her because it didn't make sense. I asked her some questions about my refund to such I got no help. I questioned it because it didn't even show as a pending transaction to which she said it can take a day to show. I called 4days later to see what was going on with three refund. I got a someone who explained what was going on to her manager/supervisor.... where once again I had someone talking to me like I was bothersome so I explained the situation again to which I got oh I thought you were an employee I didn't understand what she was telling me. To which she apologized for being short with me...I'm still waiting on my refund almost a week later. I've been in contact with a regional manger who is being very kind and helpful in trying to track down my money. I'll update once this...
Read moreI recently had the most extraordinary visit to a McDonald's that defies all expectations. Nestled in the heart of the city, this McDonald's isn't just a fast-food joint; it's a magical wonderland where the food comes to life in the most delightful ways.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a chorus of Big Macs singing "We Will Rock You." Yes, you read that right—singing burgers! The atmosphere was electric, with fries that could talk and milkshakes that danced to the rhythm of the music. It was like stepping into a fantastical dream.
I ordered a Happy Meal, and to my amazement, the toy inside was a tiny, talking Ronald McDonald who could tell jokes and perform magic tricks. The ketchup packets were engaged in a lively debate about the best way to be squirted onto fries, and the nuggets were putting on a synchronized swimming show in a pool of barbecue sauce. Even the notoriously unreliable ice cream machine was part of the magic, putting on a dazzling light show.
This McDonald's transformed an ordinary meal into an unforgettable adventure. The highlight of my visit was receiving a special coupon from the talking Ronald McDonald toy, granting me free meals for life. If you're looking for a dining experience that's out of this world, this magical McDonald's is a must-visit. Five stars aren't enough to capture the enchantment...
Read moreAll McDonald's restaurants could learn something from here! I have eaten at McD's all over the country and far to many seem to be run with the "what do you expect for "cheap" fast food" attitude (the reality is even fast food is not all that "cheap" any more).
This McD's in BG in a shining example of what it should be. Staff is always friendly and attentive, food is fresh and I have only had one minor error in my order through out my several visits. Was given the wrong size fry, they corrected the error, apologized and even gave me a complimentary apple pie for having to walk inside after going through the drive through.
The table service is a very nice feature (order your food and they give you a little number sign to sit on the table and your food is brought to you when ready). Restaurant has always been very clean. The drive through always seems fast...
