McDonald's — Restaurant in Bowling Green

I have personally visited probably a hundred McDonald's location across the country and this is without a doubt not only the cleanest and best run but the most hospitable McDonald's I had ever been in. I was able to sit in this McDonald's for as much time as I needed to get work done that I had to get done and was never bothered harassed or questioned while me and a friend waited for an opening to get crucial repairs to our vehicle to make it home. We were stressed out to the max when we sat down and as always as a black man in a predominately white area I was nervous. Yet after hours of polite indifference to our presence and the same respect that everyone was given regardless of multiple refills of coffee before any substantial purchase I was at ease and my companion had fallen asleep at the table like a highschooler at an assembly. On my way out I thanked them and only then was I asked anything, and it was the best question to be asked by a restaurant employee, "was everything alright for you today?". My heart literally swelled with joy and appreciation at this maybe not even 20 something young person asking me this. I said no and explained why we had been loafing around and chatted about car troubles for a few minutes before I left.

It is establishments like this that make me wish McDonald's employees could receive tips and gives me a phenomenal appreciation for the service they provide not only as a restaurant but as a community hub and ambassador to the communities they represent. Showing a clear picture of the quality of people the community generates by the way they treat the people who come into the cheapest place to eat for...

I came in with my 4 year old son for lunch. I stood there for a bit, and someone finally came to the counter to take my order, my son got a kids meal, and I got a McDouble and a small fry, my order sat on the counter top, for about 5-7 minutes, while a worker approached us and said we are waiting on fries. Meanwhile we are still waiting, the manager says your food is right here we had to wait on the fries.. my son and I sat down in the playground area, and I began to separate our food , the fries are FREEZER cold still, my hamburger was cold, the cheese was still cold as if it came out of the refrigerator..the establishment’s now days are definitely not like they were BACK in the day.. I believe the only thing good that I liked was my coke and my son likes his hi-c other than that he ate his nuggets and we threw the rest away....

I came to this location at 11am to grab a sandwich on my way to work. I ordered a McDouble bundle dressed special. They started serving lunch at 1030, so my food should have been pretty fresh considering they had only been serving lunch for 30 minutes. But as I started eating my fries, I could tell that they had been sitting there for some time or put in my bag and left sitting being unheated while my sandwich was being prepared, but then I get my sandwich out and unwrap it. OMG the bun (whole) was hard, the meat even on the sandwich was so dry there is no way that hamburger patty was cooked today. I do not recommend going to this location. The restaurant in a whole needs drastic attention because this is not the first problem that I have had with this...
