Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Because it's been that long since I've been back in bowling Green. This place still has great pizza customer service is also great The table settings everything about this place is clean fun and inviting. Definitely great for family gathering college Hangouts and just friends who just want to catch up. I can tell during the summer time it's going to be a struggle for them. Because as they keep the large garage door open they're going to have a quite a few uninvited guests coming in. Even though all are welcome certain things are definitely required. As I was watching staff they had to run off two people one person I can tell had not been there taking a order anything because he brought in a cup that looks like one of their cups but went straight to the fountain to get something to drink and no I'm not talking about the water fountain on tomorrow the fountain machine where you can get Coke products or Pepsi products. And it's going to be kind of hard to maintain the visual when you are assisting customers but they did their best to maintain order in the place. One person it even looks like they came in and left some stuff while they went around shopping and came back and picked it up out of the bathroom which was a total shock it came in with no bags but then went out with a couple of bags. And the sad part is there's no Walgreens in the area so they must have did some serious walking with that bag. But other than that great place good atmosphere just keep your eyes peeled for anything that doesn't look normal. I signed up to receive the promotional texts through the service that Donato's set up and I was excited to see that they were offering a free small pepperoni or cheese pizza with their promo code they provided. I attempted to enter in the promo code online after selecting one small pepperoni pizza and the coupon code populated a strange error that indicated it had to be used on a small pepperoni or small cheese pizza only (even though I only had a small pepperoni pizza in my cart it still would not accept it). I called the store to request assistance and was transferred to a manager who blamed me for not ordering correctly online. The manager was very rude but finally caved and allowed me to come and pick up my pizza. At 8:10PM he said it would be an hour and 20 minutes before my pizza would be ready. I thought this was a bit strange but they did just open so I knew they must be busy. I had my suspicions that the manager was just telling me this in an attempt to prevent me from ordering so I arrived 30 minutes earlier than what he had told me at 9:00PM and my pizza was there waiting for me. It must have been sitting there for a while because it wasn't very fresh. This tells me that the manager was in fact trying to convince me not to order by giving me a bogus wait time. That pizza was ready in 20-30 minutes tops. I work in a pizza place myself so it's easy to tell when a pizza has been sitting for a while. The staff was very dismissive and unfriendly and the pizza was forgettable (probably because it wasn't fresh at all even though I arrived 30 minutes earlier than I was told to). The food is always good, fast delivery and up until the last two weeks they have always got my order right. I order from this place becouse of the last statements, but the last two weeks they have forgotten food or the order isn't right. I don't know what changed from previous twice a week orders but something did. What's up Donatos?
