Spencer's Coffee — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Edit: While working on a shop remodel downtown I discovered the Cuban. This coffee is freaking amazing. I make special trips in to get them when I can now.

Great atmosphere and great coffee. Each time I've gone the coffee has been spot on. I don't add cream or sugar, just drink it straight brewed. They are doing something good with their coffee here. I've tried a different blend each time and have not been disappointed. Staff is great and know what they're doing. Love the tables by the way. The rustic nail company did great job on those for you guys. The chocolate chip cookie was awesome too. I usually go later in the evning while out on date nights so I don't know how busy it gets during the day but at night it is the perfect level of busy for me. Some people hanging out and others come in and go just as quick. I'll keep coming back for more coffee and for sure chocolate chip cookies. Going to have to try the other goods too. I really wanted to like this place, but every single coffee I’ve ordered was so bad I couldn’t finish more than a quarter of it. I never asked them to remake anything for free, if I didn’t like it I bought another one AND tipped, and when I was still disappointed, I just threw it away. After five tries at this coffee shop, I can confidently say it’s some of the worst coffee in town and absolutely not worth the price. Eventually my friends had to say “Are you SURE you want to try going there again?” Because they were also tired of wasting their money on bad coffee. Atmosphere is great, smells wonderful inside, and the food options are awesome, but if you’re going here for a cup of coffee, seek elsewhere. Even the flavoring syrups won’t help. What a gem in Bowling Green! We stopped by Spencer’s Coffee on our weekend trip and were absolutely blown away. This place is everything a coffee shop should be—vibrant, welcoming, and full of life.

They use Sunergos beans, and let me tell you—the coffee was phenomenal. Smooth, flavorful, and brewed to perfection. Every sip was a delight.

The environment was just as impressive. It’s spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for studying, meeting with friends, or just soaking in the atmosphere. It feels fresh and uplifting, not run-down or overly casual like some shops. You can tell they put care into the space.

And the baristas were top-notch—so kind, helpful, and full of good vibes. They added to the experience in the best way.
