Josh's Pizza — Restaurant in Boyertown

We've lived in boyertown for about 2 years, and every pizza place I have tried has been generic and overpriced except for this guy. He may come across as a little abrupt and rude, but he's one guy doing everything. When I say everything I mean making the pizzas, dropping the fried foods, answering phones, operating the cash register. He's a one-man band. As someone who's worked customer service and restaurants, I can appreciate what he offers. His prices are more than reasonable, and his food is more than tasty. This guy has some of the best wings/pizza around! I literally won't order from another pizza place if he's closed. I've come to accept that most people think that bland is the new standard. It's not. Josh will literally tell you that he uses the same ingredients as everybody else. He clearly does something different though!

My family and I used to order from Josh's regularly when we first moved to Boyertown. They simply don't do customer service. and act like they don't want your business. I called tonight to try to get a pizza for pickup around 7. I asked the gentleman I spoke with what time he recommends I call in the order to pick up so it would be ready close to 7, and was bluntly told "No, we can't do that, we don't give time frames on Fridays". He wouldn't even give me a general time-frame of how long an order can be ready for pickup once placed. If they can't figure out the math of how long it will take to make 3 pizzas if i give 2+ hours notice to do it, and they're going to be rude about it, then I'll have to take my business elsewhere. This is my favorite pizza joint to order from. Their prices are good and the food even better. I am a huge pizza fan and absolutely love Josh's pizza. My 9 year old son raves about their pizza as well. My boyfriend love's their cheese steaks. I had an issue with my order on one occasion and the owner, Josh, went out of his way to reach out to me about my unhappiness. That shows commitment and that he cares about his customer's happiness.
