My Haitian and Jamaican aides have raved about the takeout food that I bought them for Valentine's Day. My wife was not well today so I went and had a "bon temps." I ordered the Tissot which was prepared in a way that is not like Middle Eastern heritage to my knowledge. Unfortunately my French is poor (see spelling above) so I was embarrassed to ask questions after being tutored by both lady aides what to order. Honestly, j'oublie. The black rice was amazing. The plantain hit the spot. I hope I used the right condiment on the fresh lettuce and tomato salad. I ate the carrots from the red sauce cup and spooned some on my black rice. I missed eating the chopped white condiment because my eyes are bad. The meal was more than I could finish, so I took home and ate more. [Did NOT give any to my wife.
