I’ve had my eye on this dim sum spot in Lake Worth for a while. Coming from Los Angeles, where dim sum is an art form, I’ve learned to keep my expectations in check, especially in areas with a smaller Asian population. Initially, I hesitated to visit due to the low ratings, but I’m thrilled to report that this place exceeded my expectations! For the price, quality, and location, the dim sum here is quite impressive—though it may not rival Din Tai Fung or Capital Seafood (in Cali), it offers a uniquely Floridian twist that makes it stand out. The service was another highlight; our server was not only attentive but also had a great sense of humor that added to the overall experience. Here’s a breakdown of what we ordered: Siu Mai: 4.5/5 - Juicy and flavorful, these dumplings hit the spot. Turnip Cake: 5/5 - Absolutely the star of the meal! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; I could eat these all day. Spare Ribs: 4.5/5 - Tender and delicious, these delivered a nice punch of flavor. Chinese Doughnut with Rice: 4/5 - A delightful twist on a classic, crispy and satisfying. TBH, this was my fav, unfortunately, It was missing the peanut butter sauce =/ Overall, I’d recommend giving this dim sum spot a try if you're in the area. It’s a tasty gem that provides solid fare at a great value, and who knows—you might just find your new favorite dish!

For context, I cut my Chinese food teeth during the eighties as a consistent patron of Joyce Chens in Cambridge MA. My expectations, as a result are high and outside of major cities like NYC, San Francisco, etc… usually fall short. I must say, Real Wok, surprised me in a good way. Starting with the Pork Dumplings, they were the Real Deal! …amazing! Thick, unctuous, perfectly wok seared, plump, pork stuffed, large pillows of love. Best I’ve had since JC’s Peking Dumplings. Mind you, they were heavy and filling (6 come in an order) and I came close to being full after that 1 app. Next up was the hot/sour soup, wasn’t the best I’ve had, but still very good, with just the right amount of white pepper. I do like mine darker, richer, with more vinegar. The 2 entrees I ordered were both very good: Moo shu Chicken was excellent with 4 soft, warm, thin pancakes, served with a perfectly piquant hoisin sauce. My Roast Pork Lo Mein was very good, tons of pork, noodles however could have been less oily. Portions are huge( I ended up taking the majority of both entrees home). Pricing is ridiculously reasonable. This will be my go to when I need old school, Szechuan style Chinese food. So many Asian restaurants these days are a fusion of different Asian cuisines to appeal to a broader audience, this is Not that in a very good way

Today I just took my family here for a lunch and I received the worst customer service ever. We were given attitude by the waitresses the whole time we were here. We could feel that since we just started to make order. They were not so attentive to us like others would do in other restaurants. When we were wrapping up our lunch, the waitresses just came to us all of the sudden and cleaned up everything while we were still finishing up without us asking them to do so. They just felt the need of rushing us out of their place. I would never set foot in this restaurant again unless they change the way you treat your customers. I just don't understand why they did that to us when we brought in $111 in business for them when nobody came in. I have never encountered such attitude in other Chinese restaurants. You should not treat customers like trash like the way we were treated today. P/S: I'm not a first time customer. I have been coming here for to go orders and also referred my family and friends to come here. However, it is the last time we dine in this restaurant.

Came to eat here with my parents for the Christmas hoping to celebrate such a happy occasion yet I was left ashamed and embarrassed for bringing my parents here. If I was by myself, I wouldn't mind no service as I am self sufficient enough to call waiter over and order my food. However, I brought my parents early in order to catch their push cart Dim Sum yet I was flabbergasted at the way we were treated. Our table was right in the middle yet when the carts were pushed around; only the two tables next to us near the wall were serviced with smiles on their face. They came by multiple times yet they only stopped once at our table; not voluntarily btw, had to call her. We tried making eye contact and getting our waiter attention yet literally was ignored. I was shocked to the point my parents and I were laughing awkwardly with each other. This made me become self aware and subconscious of myself, thinking if we did something to offend or just cause we weren't dressed like we "tip well."

I would like to thank the two Hispanic workers that actually serviced us so we can actually eat that morning. I personally gave her the well deserved tip, thank you for that.

The only time the waitress came by to our table was to pack our food togo lol. one of the ladies even was arguing with my mom to have her tie the togo bag when my mom said she can do it. How funny.

Food: Most food was quite good tbh, cannot lie there; however the Fried Rice we got the beef was raw, instead of making a new one or even just refrying it, they shoved it in the microwave and brought it out to us. Nice. I work in the kitchen long enough to know when my food is properly made or not. If you are going to microwave the food, please at least take two min to change the plates if you are trying to finesse since plate was...

We had a reservation for 4:30pm on Christmas for seven. When we ate there a week ago the manager walked over to my in-laws who eat there all the time confirming this reservation. They went to seat us at a 6 top when there was a tables at for 7 free right next to the table they wanted to seat us at. We asked to sit at the appropriate size table as opposed to being squeezed in and there response was first that the other table was for a reservation. The manager said I have a lot of people who want to eat here so if you don’t like the table you can leave. After a few minutes we didn’t feel like arguing so we took the cramped table. While walking in there was a party of 7 that didn’t have a reservation and were told there would be a wait we heard one of them calling a few other restaurants looking for an available table. 10 minutes after we sat down they were seated at the 7 top that we were told was for a reservation. The food here is good to very good depending on the dish, the wait staff hustles, 1 of our dishes first came out as we were wrapping up our meal and we got a quick apology from the waitress. No huge issues with the food or service once seated.

I don’t like writing negative reviews but when my family was told to sit uncomfortably or leave and then they sit another group without a reservation that is just wrong. When the manager told us in a dismissive manner to leave if we weren’t happy rather than take 30 seconds and realize that the table they refused to let us sit at was more than likely the one reserved for us that is also bad business. I will not be returning here as there are many good options in very...

I have ordered from this restaurant 3 times before and the food was mediocre. Today I decided to give it another chance and explore it a little further. I am familiar and love everything about asian cuisine. I have had all of the different types all over the states, S. FL., Cali., NY, etc. And cross continental as well. I was extremely disappointed with the food here. The quality was terribly insipid. The Egg drop soup tasted like melted butter. My grandson loves egg drop soup and he wouldn’t eat it. I tried the dim sum menu and the tripe was greasy and lacked flavor. The portion was tiny. I know dim sum are smaller portions but this was like sample size. The general chao’s chicken was over priced. I ordered the larger dinner size and it looked like it was served from the lunch or dinner combination menu.I ordered the boneless bbq ribs for 22.95 expecting a larger portion for the price and again was disappointed at the rip off of a portion. I noticed the small size when I checked it in the car and called them immediately. I really wanted to give them a chance to make it right because I honestly thought it was an error. The same lady that took my to go order answered and said that was the size and that was the price. Basically she was saying it is what it is. Not expressing any concern for my clear disappointment. I thought maybe the value was in the flavor or quality but I was disappointed yet again. No I understand why the place was so empty. If you want small portioned and over priced mediocre food. This is your place. Other wise eat...
