I will not be spending another dollar here. When I asked if they would donate an item for a raffle basket to raise money for our local girls hockey team, I was told that they don’t give anything away because they are a nonprofit. I won’t support businesses who don’t give back. This is a thrift store.. items are given to them. They would not loose any money by donating a mug or book or anything really. I think there at two kinds of thrift shoppers: those who want some of the curating done for them (and are willing to pay for it), and like a clean, comfy atmosphere. Then there are thrifters who see piles of junk and disorganized shelves and think TREASURE! For the second kind of thrift shopper, price is paramount over atmosphere.
