Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going here on and off ever since they opened. Very unprofessional owners, just look at how they respond to anything below a two stars. Definitely worrying more about making money selling you overpriced kava rather than providing a great environment for everyone to feel welcome in. I loved the pinball they have but now I canāt even enjoy that due to the new 21+ rule which is confusing because Iāve bought D8 carts here before.
Ownerās response from google: Hi Zack. If asking people to share insight is unprofessional then I accept your opinion. I can't take action in creating a more welcoming environment if I don't understand what the complaint is, does that really warrant a 1 star rating? Also, the CBD regulations changed the age to purchase from 18 to 21 more than a year ago and kratom went 21 six months ago. I disagree 3 dollars is overpriced for kava. We haven't sold D8 carts in a long time now so it sounds like you are generally angry about the regulations. I hope you can make it in for an 18+ event (announced on social media) and chat with me about your frustrations, it's OK to be mad. I do care and am trying to use your feedback constructively.
Update per response: Telling others they had a bad day as a response to a review isnāt asking for insight :) I also never said the environment wasnāt welcoming, all I said was that they prioritize selling their kava more than providing a welcoming environment. That can be seen in how they ask people to leave if they havenāt ordered anything in more than an hour, as seen in other reviews. Let people stay and decide to buy your products because youāve already provided such a good environment, that just sounds like better business practice instead of losing a customer. And yes, the small amount of kava I get for $3 is overpriced. Iām honestly surprised if that is the cheapest drink on your menu. Also, as per most D8 users, Iām rather level headed right now, I just like to share my opinion about local businesses :) What makes me even more confused is that I was a younger than 18+ when I bought said cart. I honestly didnāt know the state had regulations for that. At this point, if this is how they take criticism Iām not sure if I wanna meet you guys face to face. You guys sound like the mad ones. Perhaps someone is projecting? Sorry my review isnāt to your liking. I believe that is all I have to say about the establishment. Hope you have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon Kava Haven, the ultimate oasis for those seeking a calm, relaxed vibe that only the roots of Piper Methysticum, a plant native to the Pacific Islands, can provide. Honestly, if this place were any more chill, it would be a penguin in a hammock.
The true stars of my visit were the owner and our server, Chase. Picture this: a walking encyclopedia and a Kava sommelier rolled into one. These folks know their Kava! They gave us the lowdown on its origins, benefits, and the many varieties. I half-expected them to whip out a PowerPoint presentation, but instead, they gave us something even betterāa taste test! Yes, you read that right. We got to sample the goods like we were at a fancy wine tasting, except it was Kava, and we were sitting on cozy couches instead of stiff chairs.
Chase, our server, was like the Kava whisperer. With the enthusiasm of a game show host, he guided us through the flavors, making sure we found our perfect match. Iām convinced he could sell ice to an Eskimoāor, in this case, Kava to a caffeine addict.
Kava Haven is more than just a place to drink Kava; itās the ultimate hangout. Need a spot to unwind after a long day? Check. Looking for a cool environment to work from? Double check. Want a fun night out with friends that doesnāt involve shouting over loud music? Triple check. The ambiance is so perfect you might consider moving in. And the best part? You wonāt find any rowdy crowds here, just friendly folks all sipping on their cups of calm.
In short, Kava Haven is like the Cheers of Kava barsāeveryone might not know your name, but theyāll definitely help you forget why you were stressed in the first place. Iāll be back soon, and who knows, I might even...
