Fanatics Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Bradenton

I used to go to this bar back when it was still under previous ownership. After moving back in the neighborhood, I was hoping to find a nice local bar to visit and figured I would see what the new owners have done with the place. It looks so much better and cleaner than before and was happy to see that. Then we met the bartender, which completely killed the thrill of the new look. I don't believe I have met a more unfriendly bartender. She engaged in conversation with 2 people in the place, that seemed to be friends of hers. We got the feeling that our presence was unwanted when we ask questions or ordered another beer. If the current owner has any real involvement in this place, they really should employ staff that makes people feel welcome. Could be a nice place to hang but I won't be going back...

Its a great little place. The only problem was the bartender miki. She is that very obvious "fake nice" that you can see through but tolerate because you want to stay at the place youve chosen. I only purchased 2 beers which did not total $10 and she took it upon herself without asking to add a tip for herself to reach their $10 minimum which is not advertised anywhere I could see and was definitely not mentioned by her. Also when they made last call it was 1245 which was fine but they then turned off almost all of the lights while we were still finishing our drinks which I thought was pretty rude. I like the place but maybe go somewhere else when the girl with short curly hair...

Just popped in with my dad for a quick couple drinks. Bartender was terrible. There were 2 other people in the bar when we came in. She did not greet us other than asking what we wanted. Some of her regulars (im assuming) came in and she went to the end of the bar and they stayed that way the entire time we were there. She was not welcoming, talked while walking away from us, clearly I think she needs a different job. As an owner, I think you may want to spend your money paying for people to engage patrons to stay longer, drink more and return. Wanted to laugh and have a couple drinks and enjoy people but wah,wah,...
