Five Nine Grill & Tavern — Restaurant in Bradenton

We ( my husband and I) went to Five Nine this past Tuesday, “burger night”.

Our first experience in this establishment, was great!! Beautiful atmosphere, tv’s hung everywhere for the sports enthusiasts. The actual Bar is small, Bradenton locals love to sit at the Bar ( lol) . but there are a few high top tables available too, for the crowd who enjoys a “bar type“ seat.

Great food, the apps awesome, and $1 off “Happy Hour” drinks until 6pm, what more could you ask for? Yes, everything we ordered was delicious, devoured and yummy! Take a look at my thin mint Martini.. is that not delightful?

I must also note the place is very clean, the women’s bathroom immaculate, and I personally saw a young man, employed there, stop in his tracks to pick up a piece of paper. Now, I’m sure you will agree that is impressive on a busy night! All the staff were so very friendly. We were even invited back for brunch on the weekend, by our lovely waitress, who said, “You all must come back for brunch over the weekend, it’s a different menu and Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s WILL BE SERVED.

So, guess where we were headed Sunday. Sunday Brunch… here we come!! We brought another couple to share the experience.

Definitely recommend, totally expected another grand experience! And we were not disappointed!!

Yes, a grand Brunch Menu, the experience by all 4 of us, was perfect. I, myself was immediately drawn to the Monte Cristo sandwich! Not often on a menu and most certainly my favorite.

This sandwich in my experience is usually served with a strong Swiss cheese, and a choice of hame or syrup. I asked for Extra cheese. And a side of syrup. Although, I was slightly disappointed, it was served to me with extra American Cheese. I did get my syrup and jam. So, I won’t complain, it was still very good, and I suppose the cheese choice is a matter of taste.

With that said; the entire table agreed. This is an awesome place to eat…. With diverse menu, daily and on the weekends. And, we will frequently partake in this restaurants specials and certainly find more...

Today was my first visit, and, oh boy, it was a treat! My friend and I were greeted and treated warmly the whole time. My friend and I both had the Five-Nine Cheeseburger, I had fries on the side, and she had the mac-n-cheese. Everything tasted fantastic! My burger was cooked just right and the lettuce, pickles,and tomato were very fresh. My fries were crispy and delicious. But, then I tried a little of my friend's mac-n-cheese, and Oh. My. Word. It was so creamy and wonderfully seasoned. At the table next to us, one person ordered the onion rings, and, even though I was full from my meal (and the mac-n-cheese my friend "made me eat"), they smelled so delicious that I think I might have to have those next time. On our server's (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name but she was very attentive and so pleasant) recommendation, I ordered the mac-n-cheese with roasted vegetables to go, for later to take home and share with my husband (he's never been here, either). We had it for dinner, and he "hated it" so much that he cleaned his plate! We're planning a visit of our own in the near future. Folks, do yourself a favor and come eat at Five Nine sometime. You won't regret it, and you won't...

So far, I’m very impressed. The owners are heavily involved and making sure that business is going well and customers are happy. My waiter Jose is superb, and he is really on top of things. Vincent came to my table multiple times to make sure my visit was out of this world. Thank you Jose and Vincent. What a wonderful pleasure to have you gentlemen as 5 star service staff. As for the food, I ordered the Chicken Parm and it was very delicious and very filling. Great pricing as well. Generous portions. No negative experiences at all. This place seems like it will turn out to be a smash hit here in west Bradenton. Great location. I see them eventually knocking down a wall to the neighboring business and expand the bar and dining area because this establishment is going to grow and stay busy. The owner Holly is such an incredible and passionate person. She truly has a gift and this business. I can not forget Evan of course, he made sure I did not have a very long wait for a table. He has a great personality for this place I truly hope he is here for our next visit. Great job to the Five Nine owners and Staff. I am excited for...
