I am an boba lover, especially milktea, im very excited that onezo opened in Bradenton and they been opened for less than a week but i been coming 3 days straight already. My first tried was hongkong milktea, usually not many boba shop offer hongkong milktea but when they do i always try it first, hongkong milktea here is good, it have a bitter after taste of oolong tea just how i like it, strong scent of tea, but after taste is a little powdery so i give hong kong milktea 7/10. My second tried was signature milktea, with cheesecream and brown sugar boba 50% sweet level because i like my milktea less sweet if i add brown sugar boba to it. It turned out just how i like my milktea, i give it 9/10. Today i tried taro milktea with 75% sweet level brown sugar boba and cheese cream, it very cakey to the mouth, is like im eating taro mousse cake, very velvety but because it not ad sweet, i really like it, 8/10. My favorite so far is the signature milktea, i will try different...
Read moreI was not a huge boba tea fan before I tried OneZo. Most places' drinks are too sweet or milky, and I can't taste the tea. Unlike others, they make their Boba in house, and it makes a big difference for both the flavor and the texture. The original and brown sugar boba are chewy and tasty, and they also make limited time boba flavors I haven't seen elsewhere.
My favorite drinks so far are the Hong Kong Milk Tea and the Grapefruit Green Tea. I take them with 30% sugar to let the strong tea be the hero. Brown sugar boba is good in the milk tea, and fruity popping boba goes well with the fruity lighter teas.
I have tried shops in New York, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and I can tell you that OneZo is the real deal.
This OneZo location also serves mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs. The donuts are much better than the other shops in the area. You can tell they make them fresh...
Read moreWent here twice during my vacation and I think it’s the best boba option in Bradenton and Sarasota (that’s not saying too much though because the competition is pretty weak). I personally do not like Ding Tea and RoyalTea and Kung Fu Tea much and think this is a better chain. They make their own boba in house (they have the machine within view in the store) though it’s not like other homemade boba I’ve had before (not as chewy and quite firm actually). The grass jelly is too dense for my preference and is hard to suck through the straw. The signature milk tea has strong tea flavor, though it was kind of inconsistent between my two visits. The first time there was not enough ice so the drink wasn’t as refreshing as it could have been. The second time...
