Panatieri's Pizza & Pasta- Branchburg — Restaurant in Branchburg Township

Great place for pizza in the local Branchburg area. They also have fantastic chicken tenders for catering. However I have run into multiple issues with takeout orders in the past as they don’t offer the greatest service on the phone. Tonight I placed an order for delivery which they said would be an hour. I quickly called back within 3 minutes and said I’d pick it up as I had guests who were starving. I drive there and the two kids at the counter have zero clue about the order. It turned out they never changed it to pick up and the delivery driver came anyway with the food. Glad somebody was home to get it. Communication is very poor here. Panatieri's is a local pizzeria chain that began in Bound Brook. They now have several locations in central New Jersey. Their success is understandable as their pizza is quite good. This is the third Panatieri's I've been to and it is just as good as the others. I ordered a plain and a Margherita slice. The plain tastes great. It has a tasty sauce with a crisp base and a fluffy, flavorful crust. The cheese to sauce ratio is on-par! The Margherita slice has the same great base and crust but with the added fresh mozzarella cheese and a richer sauce. Basil also packs an extra flavorful punch. Panatieri's is a good go-to...

Food is delicious here. We have ordered Alfredo Chicken Pasta, Garlic bread and a slice of Cheese pizza. Price to food portions are directly proportional. Lots of seating and spacious to move. The only thing lacking is there is a communication problem for the person at the counter who is taking order. The person standing beside him looking at our faces and smiling, not sure whether he is able to. As service too plays a key role in restaurant industry they should have made a proper communicable person at the counter. Rest all good but we need to be prepared first...
