P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Brandon

We came here to have lunch with a friend. The previous restaurant that was here that we loved was California pizza. We have been to PF Changs for many years, and it went downhill after 2020. This Saturday (5/4) proved it's worse than ever. First, the service lacks. There is one girl doing the job of 2 at the front. She is handling take out orders as well as seating people. They were empty at lunch hour because everyone would rather take out than eat in. We got seated after 5 mins of waiting. we were finally asked how many were in our party, and then she looked like she struggled on where to put us. I don't know why, but she pushed 2 tables together for 5 people when the table was big enough for 5 two were kids. Either way, we had this one server say, "I'm not your server, but I'll get you drinks and an appetizer." Weird way to introduce yourself. Either way, after our drinks were taken, it took an additional 10-15 mins before the actual server came by. By then, we knew what we wanted, but she got it wrong twice. It took 25-30 mins to make prepackaged food. During us waiting for our food, an assistant manager comes by to drop coupons on the table before we even get our food for a future visit. How distasteful and rude. Once we got the food, the food was "meh." The kids' meals were sad frozen chicken meals with unseasoned veggies. Do they just think kids have no taste? They also gave both our kids veggies when one asked for rice.... The sushi was first strong arm robbery! $18 dollars for gas station sushi with expired Sriracha sauce and tiny fried shrimp nuggets. My husband chicken meal was just that. It came with chicken, and he had to order a dish of chow mein to make it a meal. We paid over $65 dollars for a meal I could have gotten for $40 at Sam's Club and did the same thing, and heated it up the same way they did at lunch. I came here with some of my friends and the service was alright, but the food was majorly disappointing. I ordered the chef's feast for 2 with a friend and I couldn't even eat it. The hot and sour soup was inedible, it was as if I was just eating sweet and sour sauce, but worse. The consistency was a sludge and it tasted off. It was also luke warm upon arrival. The server never came back to ask how it was or I would have at least had it rewarmed. The menu didn't indicate that the eggrolls had horseradish in them, and I would not have ordered them if I had known that they were going to. The honey chicken tasted okay, but the consistency of the chicken was as if it was ground and frozen and cooked while frozen. The mouth feel was not great. Lastly, the bottom of the receipt indicated "gratuity not included" but after leaving and further inspecting my receipt it indicated that I was indeed charged 20% for gratuity. I should have read the receipt more clearly, but it should also be more clear to customers that they are being charged a tip automatically. I called the restaurant for a charge back so I wouldn't be paying a gratuity of over 40% for the unfortunate experience I had at PF Changs that that is the only reason this isn't a 1 star review as they have been very helpful in charging...

Just outright too expensive, if I want to go to a decent restaurant and eat out of a plastic cup, I would’ve never thought this would be the restaurant. I paid $90 for a meal. Let’s talk about it. I had a $25 Mongolian shrimp which added was 1.96 to switch to shrimp when beef is far more costly than shrimp. It comes with a side, but yet I was charged 4.95 for noodles. Food quality is Subpar to be paying 35 for a lunch mean for me and my daughter! Just like a lot of the restaurants they’re falling on their sword by taking shortcuts. I will not be back to this location. Complete waste of money. my server was really good. Overwhelmed but really good. Host was childish and playing I asked them for her two pairs of chopsticks before I left for my leftovers and they act like they didn’t wanna give it me After I tip my waitress and paying $110 the least you can hand me as a two cent pair of chopsticks.
