Had the best self care spa 🧖🏾‍♀️ day and birthday 🥳 in one at Chateau Elan and my services came with a complimentary lunch at Fleur-De-Lis. I ordered the crab cake per the gesture from one of the attendants. It was ok, did not come with no salad or anything else. 2 large crab cakes and it was just ok. Not sure what that orange sauce was but it was just ok… took away form that crabby crab taste since it came with no salad or potatoes. I ate a few bites and left the rest. I was rushing to go to the wine tasty but I had an Amazing server who went above and beyond to make me feel special and bring me the complimentary birthday desert. I ended up forgetting it in their fridge but I appreciated the thoughts.
This was one of the best birthdays I ever had and I needed much me time as a full time employee, mom and so much more to the so many ungrateful. That day was for me and I made no mistake making it special!!
Grateful for the entire CHATEAU STAFF AND This restaurant for partnering with them because it was easy to leave the spa and walk right upstairs for lunch.
Took the car service to the top of the hill for the tasting which added more ambiance and pizzazz to my day !!!
Definitely recommend doing an overall experience but if you’re just up to go to the restaurant, I will recommend because the other food I saw looked good and I must say.., it may as well been the excitement too that made the food not as tasty. I plan to go back to the winery and try this restaurant and the others over time so I will post...
Read moreThis has been the highlight of our stay at Chateau Elan so far. It provided a beautiful view overlooking a lake and one of the golf course greens, and had a menu with unique items that we would not make for ourselves at home. I love breakfast and my wife enjoys salads, so it was a great opportunity for us to get both. I very much enjoyed the Cranberry Coconut French Toast, which had a great combination of the tangy cranberries, the sweet of the syrup and butter and the light crunch of the macadamia coconut crumble. My wife said the Pan Roasted Branzino with her salad was excellent as well. We finished by sharing the Truffled Ganache dessert, which combined a rich tasty dark chocolate ganache with the light tangy tastes of lemoncello sorbet and frozen raspberries on top. The presentation was beautiful with one of the frozen raspberries broken apart to look like small flower petals. Our server Chelsea made the whole experience complete by being very sweet and attentive, and yet also letting us take our time to relax and enjoy it all. Very pleased over all. I highly recommend it for a quiet,...
Read moreFleur De Lis is in the grounds if Chateau Elan Winery and Resort. It is part of the (or a) spa building. I am giving it three stars because it was kind of confusing finding the restaurant. There is so sign or indication that guides you to where you’ve arrived, unless you get out of your car and walk inside the building to ask if you are in the right place.
Brunch menu is very appealing. However, I wasn’t impressed with my “Eggs Benedict - Crab Cake” menu item. One of the eggs was very over cooked. I eat poached eggs all the time, and these were below average. Did let server know, who offered to bring fresh order of eggs, but is the little things that count (specially for the price you are paying). Foos was also very salty (in my experience, you do not add salt to poached eggs!!!).
Views were wonderful though! Lake and golf ground views, quiet, and very relaxing atmosphere.
Will definitely give it another try, you never know...maybe it was one of those days...but I have to point out, it was not a full restaurant so they were not “that” busy to justify service and below average...
