Still Coffee & Treats — Restaurant in Brea

I stopped by this new café in Brea because I saw that it just opened—and I’m so glad they opened a beautiful Cafe like this in OC! Their lattes are amazing. I tried the Strawberries & Crème Latte for the first time and was genuinely impressed. It wasn’t too sweet and reminded me of a strawberry shortcake ice cream, blended with coffee and a touch of milk and berry flavor. Definitely a new favorite I’d order again!

I also had the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte, which was super refreshing and delicious. The Iced Shaken Honey Oat Latte had a really nice balance—just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the coffee or honey flavors.

For pastries, I tried the Passion Fruit Kougiman bread, and I absolutely loved it. Soft, flavorful, and such a fun twist!

This place is a HIDDEN GEM. Their drinks are so amazing and the owners, Stella and David are extremely nice and down to earth. I love supporting local businesses so I stopped by here to pick up a drink before heading to work.

Upon entering, the ambiance and vibes are amazing. It’s minimalistic with some seating, and the overall interior is aesthetic. I got “the usual” drink, which is a latte with their cream top; very similar to an einspanner latte.

When I tell you it’s good… ITS GOOD. The espresso really comes through with a smooth flavor, and their cream top is PERFECTION. It’s super thick and creamy, and mixed perfectly with the drink. I’ve tried a lot of coffee shops, from OC to LA and this definitely ranks in my top coffee shops.

Located in the crammed Brea Imperial Center, with the likes of Fogo de Chão and In-N-Out, sits a coffee shop whose name represents who they are. A still place to escape the world in which you can sit down and enjoy a typical café drink. Stopping in around 1:30 p.m., we found a rather empty café with only one person studying and a singular employee ready to attend to any need that could pop up. We ordered a The Usual and a Sweet Matcha Latte. The wait was quick and out came two delightful-looking beverages. The Usual was a perfect set of flavors creating an enjoyable drink on a sunny day. The Sweet Matcha was just as described, a good-quality matcha with a bit of sweetness to it.
