As others have written, I too have grown up with Charlie T's during my summer visits to Louisiana... what sets them apart is the quality and consistency of their food especially the boudain... THEY DO NOT SKIMP ON THE MEAT IN THEIR BOUDAIN!! Read moreI come for the boudin and for Charlie t's seasoning mix. According to the employee that I talked to, they do not put organ meats in their boudin so it's a bit non-traditional. She said they use ground sirloin. I prefer to have a bit of liver in my boudin but Charlie t's is still very good because it's the best season boudin i have had.
