On 3/15/2022 I placed on online order and sent a friend to grab it . The order was 2 fish sandwiches and 2 slushies. When he picked up the order there were no slushies . He stated the young lady said we never ordered them. Logically you would think one would look at the receipt to see that other items were ordered because 2 fish sandwiches do not cost $23.21. I called and spoke to I believe her name is Morgan ( sweet as pie) and told her I was over charged . She was apologetic and told me that I would have to come for my refund , which was $5.21 since it couldnāt be refunded back to the original method of payment . I live in Indiana, which is far from Country Club hills so I requested to speak to a manager to see what else can be done. I spoke to the manager who put me on the phone with the Store Manager Ms. Brown , who is beyond incompetent. Her customer service was ignorant and she left me on hold for 42 minutes . During that 42 minutes I had the time to visit the location . Still on hold , when I went in I was notified that Ms. Brown had left ! Morganās reaction was to the manager was ā you left her on hold for 42 minutes ?ā The manager said ā Ms. Brown was on the phone with her , I was wondering why she was still on hold ā. So in 42 minutes nobody picked up the phone , got it ! I asked for Ms. Brown information and the manager didnāt have it, she stated ā I donāt know ā. I asked for the owners information she said ā I donāt know ā. She told me the owner is normally in on Tuesdays! Welp what do you know Tuesday came no one answered ! Oh but the i was offered a free sandwich for my trouble ! Safe to say I will not be returning . It sucks because itās black owned ! Ms. Brown needs to be retrained and maybe take some days for herself for yer lack of customer service, lethargic tone and incompetent management skills. Last week, I was given osmall piece of catfish after paying $40 for my meal, which I felt was not representative of the value I expected. When I get fish all the time to say I know it but that's how it came is crazy. This week, when I ordered and was told that three mild sauces came with the meal, I was informed by the employee that the mild sauces were not included after I had already paid. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I was told to pay extra for the saucesor get out.he also refused an refund. I also saw a sign that indicated the sauces should be included, yet I was treated rudely and dismissively when I raised the issue.
To make matters worse, when I politely expressed my concern about the situation, I was told to leave the store. This type of behavior is completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Itās unacceptable for a manager to be rude, dismissive, and to make up rules on the spot, especially when dealing with paying customers who are just seeking a fair and pleasant experience.
I believe it is essential for any business to provide respectful and consistent service, and unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I noticed that they were getting skimpy on the large sea nuggets so I ordered a large and small. The small came in a kids size tray with 6 nuggets and the large had 12 pieces in the tray which came in the size of a small tray. I asked the manager in there to show me the kids size tray then he said the kids and small come in the same tray the kids just get less nuggets. I asked him what happened to the portions he told me before they were giving out to much and from now on this is what you would get. Even if I bought two large sea nuggets from here it still wouldnāt be the large I was accustomed to. So going forward I will just go to 119th location where they actually give you what you pay for.
