Aceituno's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Bremerton

They are always quick, the food isn't overly expensive and it tastes good is the most important part. I was thrown off by it being connected to the gas station but tried it because it was a local eatery open during the pandemic. I've had everything from the carne asada fries, to all the tacos, burritos, carne asada special and their tortas. All of it has been good and seasoned well and you can tell they put work into it. Honestly, I prefer it to the pretentious "Mexican" restaurants around charging an arm and a leg for stuff that's clearly not made for that palate seeing as how it is bland as hell. Give it a try.

UPDATE: (6/29/21) I don't know what's happened the last several months but whether they hired a new cook or if they are trying to appeal to a specific palate now but the carne asada has become exceedingly bland. And it's not just Taco Tuesday, I've gone other days and even one time, my asada fries were. This is disappointing. Never had an issue until now... ordered over the phone and had roommate pick it up on the way home. The entire order was wrong... Ordered cali burrito extra asada and sour cream and crispy fries.. 1 fish tacos. 4 asad tacos. 2 shredded beef tacos...

What a got A cali burrito. Not much meat loaded with cheese and pico and very little amount of soggy fries. And not a drop of sourcream. No fish taco. 4 asada tacos.. wow they got that right And 2 shredded chicken tacos.. The dude who took my call clearly just didn't care and def rushed me off the phone. But I've always called in ahead of time and never had a single issue. Make sure you triple check...

I had a Grilled Chicken plate and my Girl had Carne Asada fries.

The fries were barely cooked and seemed more microwaved and limp than "fries".

As for my Chicken? How dare you call it "GRILLED CHICKEN PLATE" and then hand me a pile of minced, boiled taco filler that happens to be Chicken. That may, at some point before it was soggy and overcooked, have been grilled but it sure as hell didn't make it to my plate as "grilled chicken".

1 star to rate them and 1 star because the prices were reasonable and the flavor was okay. I will never eat here again because I dont like paying for mostly bland,...
