Brought my kids here for lunch. The employees were in the midst of a shift change so we had to wait a few minutes before we could order. The young man who helped us was on his phone and it seemed we interrupted whatever he was doing. He took our order and said he was going to bring it out to us as we chose to eat in the restaurant. They didnt bring it they shouted out our order which we almost didnt hear. I ordered a breakfast combo. The hashbrown was cold and looked like it had been through the fryer a couple times bwfore it made its way to me. It tasted like it soaked in oil for quite a while. I brought it up to the counter and told the kid it tastes funny. He took it from me said "ok" and turned around and threw it away. No offer to make a new one. They did make a new one but never said anything. So when I went back up to ask for one it had sat for a few and was already cold. The dining room is cold and most of the tables look like they havent been wiped down yet today, it's 230 in the afternoon. The employees are unkempt, wrinkled uniforms, long hair and all but one seems like they have no pride in their appearance at all. It also seems that none of them care much for their job. I realize it's "only fast food" but the food should be acceptable and I am aware most people dont value a fast food job, but they should at least care enough when they are on the clock to treat people with kindness and respect. I quit patronizing this place for the better part of a year due to the fact they never, not once got our drive thru order correct. But a couple months ago we got a hankering late night and this was the only place open. The food that night was decent and the mistake on our order was caught before we left the drive thru so we decided to go back today. I regret the decision, I regret the $40.00 I dropped for lunch. It will be a very long time before I come back...
Read moreI hate to post a poor review, but this establishment is the worst. Open 24 hours but you wouldn't know it since seven times out of ten I have pulled in the order late at night and the drive through is blocked by an employee car to prevent any orders being made. Recently we caught an employee outside during such event and they stated they had to close. It was a Friday night so it felt suspect since this occurs often, it seems. In the event we were able to order the staff helping was kind and upbeat, bonus, but the food was poor. So e of the burgers we're cold, the tacos room temperature and the food we ate was poor flavor, consistency. We returned once to bring the food back and because half of the order was missing. No apologies, no compensation offered for wasting our time or because the quality was poor. The kicker is the food is so overpriced. For a family of four we easily dropped almost $30. Jack's prices were always more comparatively speaking to other fast food, but the pitch is your order is cooked once you order, so fresh, and "better ingredients". I will probably never go to another Jack Off again and I am a little sad to say that since twenty years ago it was excellent, and worth the longer wait. I can see why the company is failing and losing ground to other chains. They are mismanaged and have failed to keep up with the times. Peace Jack in the Crack. I'll miss the you from my teenage and early twenties. Like many relationships if you don't keep things fresh, take care of yourself, and especially try some new things it all becomes stale and boring, and leaves us yearning for what was and not...
Read moreI ordered the breakfast sandwich with a vanilla iced coffee, and the cinnamon churro french toast sticks. The coffee did not taste good, or like cold brew at all. It tasted like hot coffee poured over ice, so it was really watered down. The breakfast sandwich was ok. The egg was a little wet, so it dripped on my hands. The cashier spoke in a condescending tone to me. On the receipt, the name of the cashier said her name was Tony. I got my food, sat at the table. A couple of tables were dirty, even though it was empty.
Then, a guest had an altercation with the staff. I did not get much context, but the man was yelling at the staff for calling the cops on him. They accused him of being creepy, and a stalker. He said "been here for hours?! We just pulled up!!" I did not hear what the lady on the phone said to the man, but he replied, "That was last night, we came here to eat. We ate here!" and he left angrily. I was about to pack up my food and leave, but Tony went and locked the doors. She then went and reassured everyone she locked the doors, and went back to the door, opened it, stuck her head out the door and yelled/sneered at the man, "Have a nice daaay-ay!" Which I thought was very immature, and also unsafe for the guests and staff. If you feel unsafe enough to lock the doors on someone, you should not go back outside to yell at them and make...
