Mandiles Mexican Grill and Mezcal Bar — Restaurant in Bremerton

This place is great! My husband and I are pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food in particular. It has to be flavorful of course, but it also has to be authentic (I'm from the southwest so I grew up with--and cook--the real stuff).

I ordered takeout from here for the first time based on the positive reviews. Got the nachos deluxe, camarones al mojo, & camarones a la diabla. I ordered based on the menu items I could see from their Yelp page since I've never been there before. The gentleman who took my order told me camarones a la diabla isn't on their menu anymore, but he could make it for me. So cool! When I picked up my order he said they'll likely be putting it back on their menu in a couple of months, which I'm so glad to hear because they were awesome! The nachos were perfect, and they remembered my request to remove the sour cream and put the guacamole on the side. They didn't skimp on the meat or other toppings. The camarones al mojo were wonderful and surprisingly spicy (usually when I have them they aren't particularly spicy). I loved it though, very flavorful. All the food was great and the shrimp were cooked perfectly--very tender and juicy, no overcooking!

UPDATE 2024 Still the go to place for authentic mexican food. Their new brunch menu although small is DELICIOUS AF!!!!! The grapefruit mimosa was amazing and probably one of the best mimosas I have ever had. All of their drinks like their are made with actual natural fruit and no syrup!! Which makes it so much better. This is definitely a place to try and I came on Sunday at 11 and it wasn’t busy at all! (Probably because this brunch is new) but i would come and try it before they start getting busy!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!! This is by far the best and most authentic Mexican food i have had in Bremerton, Tacoma, Auburn, Kent, and Seattle. There is no place NO PLACE that i know that makes tacos al pastor WITH pineapple and I am IN LOVE!!! This food is way better than Moctezumas and way more affordable. The tacos are tastier their horchata is FRESH and NATURAL!!! I’m so shocked at how amazing this place is. I will most definitely come again!!!!

Efrain was our server and not only was he attentive to our every need and answering our questions but so were the other workers! Super friendly servers, I love that it makes the place feel very at home!!!!

The service was amazing and the speed of service was FAST!!!

Lowering to 2 stars at this point. This place is way too expensive for what it is. I ordered a fish taco plate which came with 4 large fish tacos (bland and dry and not authentic in any way) in one container and rice with refried beans in another, also ordered a bean and cheese burrito. This was a pickup order I phoned in. It cost me $24. That's just comically insane. 4 tacos, rice and beans and a bean and cheese burrito (which completely fell apart after two bites) for 24 bucks. No one offered salsa options. If I had done this drunk via uber eats at 10pm, I might let it slide as a bad decision. To have to pick this up myself for this price, sober and simply hungry, my brain boggles. The girl on the phone was also super confused and I had to walk her through my order. I could have blamed it on an incompetent employee not understanding prices and ringing me up wrong, but it was the super friendly owner who rang me up.
