Absolutely abysmal customer service. I went in looking to price out some new tools for the workshop I'm building up. Didn't necessarily go in to spend money right then and there but to possibly purchase from them at a later date. I go in, am asked if I need any help. Politely inform the women that, no, I'm fine, I'm just looking around. Ok, cool. It's her job, no big deal. I go to use the bathroom, come back. 'sir, can I help you?' different guy this time. Tell him 'no I'm fine, thank you. Actually can you price this for me? I didn't see a tag?' he prices it. Cool. Thank you. I go about my business browsing the store. Same guy comes around. At this point I know they're watching me. 'uh sir? Seriously is there anything I can help you find' and again, I tell him 'no, I'm just looking'. He then says to me 'well, there's a lot of theft here, so if you're not going to buy anything I'm gonna ask you to leave'. At this point I'm flabbergasted. Absolutely offended. "Fine whatever" I buy the book of matches I had picked up and left, all the while the women who approached me and the other guy (I'm assuming loss prevention) watched me to make sure I left. I was absolutely livid that they would profile me in this way, and have never in my life seen such atrocious customer service. Rude, and unfriendly people. Do not shop here if you want to be treated like a criminal...

I waited at the paint counter and eventually had to walk back to the front of the store and ask for an associate. I was met by an employee who's entire attitude was very negative. She eventually called another employee and he completed the order and got me on my way. I received a text message 7/16/24 saying my order was ready for pick up. I left work to pick it up. Upon arrival the staff seemed to have difficulty finding my product. It was eventually brought in. A staff member asked me if the guy who took the order had tinted it. Now, how would I possibly know. That is not my job. No one apologized for wasting all of my time. I drove home thinking all this out. I called the manager...who was said to be out of the office. Read moreCalled the store about a specific item to ask about their military discount. Rep looked item up and guaranteed me I could get military discount on it. Then he doubled down and proceeded to tell me that if I waited until the 1st Friday of the month, the military discount on said item would be doubled! I was prepared to buy the item that day, but decided to wait a week and a half until the first Friday. Then, on that fateful Friday, I went to the store only to be told they cannot give me the military discount at all🤦🏼♂️. They even acknowledged the conversation I had on the phone and told me the Rep spoke in error. I felt like they had lied to me just to get me in the door. It was a bait-n-switch. After expressing my frustration and asking for them to honor what I was told on the phone, they finally caved and gave me 1/2 the discount I was told. So generous🙄NOT! No accountability to tell the truth… at least Lowe’s & Home Depot will honor what they say. Shame on...
