I ate here about a year ago and by accident I found out that somehow I placed it on my favorites list where it definitely does not belong. There used to be another restaurant from El Salvador called El balcon. I used to eat there on a regular basis at least twice a week. My favorites were quesadillas, especially shrimp quesadilla with garlic and steak quesadilla. Everything was fine until some of their employees changed and they started burning my quesadillas. They did it three times in a row and even though I went and I showed them that the quesadillas were so burnt they were inedible they just said okay, thanks for letting us know. The fourth time was the last time. The reason why I'm saying this is because other than the young gentleman who took my phone call and was very nice, the service I received from a young woman working the cash register was not very pleasant. She could not care less about her job nor about customers. But, they burnt my steak quesadilla. So I want to ask the owner or manager. Did you by any chance get the chef from El balcon? Because if you did, you're not going to be around for much longer. I only ate there once. That was my first experience and I haven't been back in a year. You don't need my business, but if I was ever to give you another chance, it would be on your dime not mine.
Reply: Hello Mr. Owner, where did you read in my review that I said that El balcon was previously in your location? Are you sure you were reading my review? I suggest you read my review and this time pay attention. It's better not to answer a customer's reply than to insult them by responding to something they never said. It speaks volumes about how little you truly care about customer input and customer satisfaction, contrary to your empty words and promises. I have to apologize to myself for wasting my time writing a review about...
Read moreSo there are a couple of decent places to grab Mexican food in Bremerton, but I think this has become my new favorite. The food was amazing and put me in the mind of tacos from Southern CA. I ordered the Tour of Mexico, the Pork Belly appetizer, and their Jamaica. The tacos are packed with food and, thank the gods, they seasoned the meat. A lot of places up her tend to cut back on seasoning because of the more bland palate of people up here but I'm so glad they did not. I tried all 4 tacos but I couldn't finish but maybe 2 & 1/2 because I got full. The pork belly was crispy on the outside and most on the inside, BUT this was seasoned far lighter than I would have liked. Luckily, I only tried 2 pieces because later I tossed the pieces in some Sazon, pepper, dill, etc. and air fried them to Temp and was so good with the rice and beans & some pickled onions. Their Jamaica is mixed with mango and is so refreshing. The people were all very friendly. I'm just pissed Google wasn't showing them until recently when they've been open since Sept. Imo, I prefer them over Cazadores...

The place is spotless, and the service is killerâsuper fast and attentive. Even though you order at the counter, they circled back multiple times like it was a full sit-down restaurant.
The salsa bar is a must. The pineapple salsa is next-level, the mango habanero brings the perfect kick if youâre not afraid of heat, and donât sleep on the pickled carrotsâthey slap. The guac was as fresh as it gets, with cilantro and chunky avocado that proves it wasnât scooped out of some bulk tub.
The queso was fire. The kidsâ burrito could easily feed two. And the cheesy beef birria tacosâthree was enough to fill both of us up (and thatâs after splitting an appetizer and making too many trips to the salsa bar).
This is a true gem of Bremerton. Iâd happily drive out of my way just to...
