Udpate on this location. Pre COVID, I would drive by this place so many times and decided that it would be the place that I took my family and friends when they came to town for future visits. I used to compare it to an old school Starbucks. I LOVED it. The vibe was unique. It was such a chill place w/ great prices and good coffee. HOWEVER, that's all changed. I took my son in for a coffee and sandwich recently and for the both of us, with a tip, the bill was almost $50 bucks. Excuse me? He had a Milton, I had a Shakespeare, and two ham & cheese croissant sandwiches. That was it. And what they did with the sitting area?? The cozy vibe to sit and have a conversation with someone was GONE. My coffee should have been hot after just being made and it came lukewarm and tasted like hot chocolate. I don't know man. I hate what the lockdown did to the local businesses and now that we're officially in a recession, I'll save my money and forgo this place until they get back to what they once had, if they do that at all. Read moreWell my first three intial visits here was amazing! Yesterday not so much. Madison waited on me. Told me one total at the speaker box, got to the window paid the price that was told to me. I know when you paying cash the price differs. So instead of her telling me the new price for paying cash she just took my money and than short changed me instead of telling me the new price. Why people have to make things more complicated than need be??? Everyone techniques are different and yesterday when she made my smoothie it was full of ice pieces. 🙄😡 The previous times I hardly tasted the ice, but this visit you could. Just when I thought I found me a new drink spot Madison runied it. I know we all human, mistakes do happened, but why just rush thru a simple drink order and mess it up??? Slow down, take you're time and do it right when people are spending they money. I still can't get over she short changed me and all. Can't even calculate money withouth the register. Read moreAs a local I absolutely enjoy supporting local businesses in the 850 and thought this would be a great place to meet a friend who just graduated nursing school for a great cup of coffee. However, when I got ready to order, the employee wasn’t friendly or welcoming. Instead she says “what can I get you”? No smile on her face at all and she looked like didn’t want to be at work or she just didn’t want to provide us with customer service.
I proceeded to order and asked for a mango smoothie. Her reply was “we don’t do those”. I’m obviously confused because it’s on the menu. I asked her why not and she asked a co worker “why don’t we do smoothies?” and laughed. His response was “because we’re out”. I ordered vanilla latte which was really good and my daughter ordered a peach Italian soda. The coffee was great (4)! The service was poor(1)!
