I had the pleasure of visiting Blaze Pizza, and I must say: it’s exactly what I want from a fast‑casual pizza place.
First, the concept is brilliant—it combines the ease of a fast‑food setup with the quality and creativity of a modern pizzeria. You build your own pie, choosing from a broad selection of sauces, cheeses, meats, and vegetables, and it’s baked in just about 180 seconds at super‑hot (900°F ) ovens. That means you get personalized, crisp‑crusted pizzas in mere minutes, without sacrificing quality or flavor .
The speed is truly impressive. Customers rave about how fast their pizzas come out—often in under five minutes. It beats traditional pizza chains hands down in terms of convenience .
Unlimited toppings for one flat price is a major highlight. For one set price, you can pile on as many toppings as you’d like—perfect if you’re feeling adventurous. Users on Reddit find that feature fantastic, though they note that it may make the pizza a bit heavier depending on what you choose .
The ingredients are fresh and varied. Many praise the crisp crust, flavorful toppings, and variety of sauces—particularly the garlic pesto and spicy red sauce options . Overall, Blaze scores solidly—around 3.7 out of 5 across tens of thousands of reviews on Yelp, indicating generally happy customers .
Service varies by location, but most reviews emphasize friendly and efficient staff. Some give extra kudos when employees use your name, smile, and move with purpose behind the counter . A few locations receive criticism for robotic interactions, but the food quality usually wins them over in the end .

Highly recommend trying it out—and don’t skip the garlic pesto if they’re...
Read moreLet's start out, positively. The ambience is beautiful, modern, with high ceilings. Large windows display a great view. We ordered the barbecued chicken pizza. I ordered extra chicken. I see a girl putting on a smattering of little cubes (something that you'd give to a very young baby who has a problem swallowing) which I quickly realize is, indeed, chicken.....Well, this is awkward....When she's done with putting on the "chicken" (I use the word loosely), I tell her that I paid for extra chicken, so could I please have more? She gives me this look and then begrudgingly throws more on.....I'm thinking, 10 more little, diced-up pieces that wouldn't choke a fly. When we got our pizza, how do I describe it? It was like a slip of paper with nothing on it. I mean, you would need a magnifying glass---maybe a microscope---to make out what exactly IS on it. Since I'm on a date, I keep quiet....even though my discreet husband knows exactly what I'm thinking. I start to laugh because this is completely ludicrous. I use my fingers to pick up the "chicken." These pieces are too small for your average fork. Well, as I'm eating this whatever, all I can taste is salt. There is no chickeny taste ANYWHERE. I look around the room to see how the customers are reacting to their entrees: My experience reminds me of the story of the Emperor who didn't wear any clothes and everyone is pretending that he's wearing an elegant outfit....Or it's like the proverbial "elephant in the room." Why isn't anybody noticing these micromini things on their plates? This place wouldn't fly anywhere else. But here in Brentwood where the ladies are skinny, nobody cares! (BTW, I'm 100 pds....
Read moreI can see the appeal, as it is like the Chipotle of pizza. The line moves fairly quickly and the pizzas cook fairly fast. However, we asked for half of our pizza to have Italian sausage and there were (at most) six small pieces on one corner of the pizza. I hesitantly asked for more to fill out that half, although I'm not sure others would feel comfortable doing that. The servers seemed to be in such a hurry that there wasn't much care taken to each pizza. There isn't a great place to stand to wait for your pizza....just a gathering of people crowding the area where you pick up, getting in the way of others. The crust is incredibly thin and my 24-year-old son could've eaten the entire thing easily. I bought a to-go salad for myself to help stretch the pizza for the family. It was the 'Beet & Goat Cheese" salad. I was excited about it, but when I got home and dumped it into a bowl, I was very disappointed. It was about two cups of greens (arugula) that were crammed into a to-go sandwich container. It came with only three thin slices of beets and MAYBE 1 oz. of tiny goat cheese crumbles. I had to add my own fixings at home to make all of the greens edible. They also did not have any information available for the calorie counts on the salads except for online. That made it difficult to make a decision on the spot, as I am watching my calories. The positive is that the ingredients seem fresh, the workers are friendly and the place has a hip vibe. However, I probably...
