I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I started with the spicy crab salad, and wow—what a perfect balance of flavors! The spice level was just right, with a mild heat that didn’t overpower the fresh crab. It wasn’t drenched in sauce, which I really appreciated, and the large portions of crab were a nice touch. Definitely a 10/10 dish.
Next, I tried the tuna sashimi and the eel, avocado, cucumber roll, both of which were fantastic. The sashimi was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth, while the roll had the perfect combination of textures and flavors. Both were delicious, making it clear that the kitchen knows what they’re doing with their seafood.
For the main course, I went with the shrimp, veggie, and fried rice hibachi lunch special, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the veggies were crisp, and the fried rice had just the right amount of flavor and seasoning. Another 10/10.
Beyond the food, the restaurant itself had a wonderful ambiance, and the customer service was top-notch. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of the food and the generous portions. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area, and their lunch menu is definitely worth...
Read moreBeen to over 8 sushi restraunts around the Brentwood area, so far this is by far the most professional and high end sushi restraunt I have visited in the area. Nearly 7 years ago, since I ate Japanese cuisine for the first time, I make it a point to find the best sushi restaurants in my area wherever I live. Let me start by saying that I've been here over 6 times, at different times throughout the day, and service has been consistently good Everytime. If you attend at lunch time, this place has a very small and revised menu, so the selection may not be what you want, but there are several sushi combos and box's that will satisfy a hungry adult for about $12 a piece plus tax. Fast forward to dinner time, your looking at about $20-35 per adult depending on what you order. But you'll spend this usually wherever you go for Japanese, but this place has a very modern look with quick service and excellent tasting food. It is also prepared very well compared to most restraunts in the area. This isn't your typical all you can eat, or mall sushi and Japanese. Have never had any bad food, never had a bad drink from the bar, have never had bad service....
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE! FOOD POISONING! My boyfriend and I went here a week ago from today. To begin with, the service was bad. We had a tall thin man serve us. He seemed annoyed and mumbled his words. By the time we finished eating, we wanted to pay and leave only to find him in a corner on his lunch break. The portions of food were by far the worst I’ve seen from any sushi restaurant. We got steamed pork buns as an appetizer, that were given to us as 6 less the bite size pieces. We ordered the dragon roll and Thai noodles as the main course. Normally we share these items and have more than enough for us, and also lots for leftovers. The noodles were child size and the sushi only had six slices. We were not full, or remotely satisfied in any regard. The sushi tasted old and spoiled. We ate it anyways, submerging it in soy sauce to cloak the wretched lack of real quality flavor. Within an hour of finishing, I had a horrible stomach ache. The stomach ache has lasted to this day (a week later) along with sporadic migraines, body aches, fatigue, nausea, and no appetite (all signs of food borne bacteria/illness). Please don’t waste any time or money...
