I came here for a pick up delivery... I've been here multiple times before, but never treated so rudely. I was at the front counter and told I was in the way and can I sit at a table to wait. So I did... whatever. When my pick up order (not my order, someone else's) was ready, I went to pick it up and was told to tuck my chair back under the table!
I will never eat here or pick up orders from this place again! 10/10/22
01/24/23 First off, I did not throw a chair. Please do not embellish your story simply to discredit mine. Secondly, I did not mistreat your staff. You were the only person I talked to. And thirdly, I was standing in the same spot I had stood the other times I was there. So I was not trying to "pressure" anyone. You had already given me a time frame. I was simply waiting. Also, I'm not trying to take away from the restaurant itself. The food looks and smells amazing, and the restaurant is almost always full. I'm simply addressing what happened to me...
Read moreI walked in and immediately noticed I was the only Asian in there. If an Asian restaurant is named Chelsea, and there are never Asian people eating there...that kinda tells you how good of an Asian restaurant it is. Sure it's supposed to be Fusion, but it's not the inventive, creative, type of fusion. It's the fusion that's meant as an excuse for just not being authentic. Fellow foodies know what I mean by this. I gave it a shot anyways and regret it...so-so food, terrible service. The man and woman that were working the front was so unbelievably rude, double-teaming on the only non-white customer who was waiting for his order in the front. I couldn't believe what was happening. I paid and left. I will never go back there. That was my first, and last, time I will be there. I will not support this pandering, sell-out restaurant and will tell everyone I know not...
Read moreMy wife has dined there several times at lunch so I thought we might try dinner. It was a busy Friday night but we found an outdoor table within 5 minutes. The table was disinfected and our drink and food order taken quite quickly. We made the mistake of allowing another couple to join our table as we received a combined bill for all four. As the orders were quite unequal, we requested they be separated. That didn't go well and I finished up paying $20 more than I should. Beer prices were reasonable but wine seemed a little pricey for a bare bones type of restaurant. The edamame was tasty but my wife's Lion (something) roll was very bland and my $16.95 roll was overpriced. Ginger and Wasabi were not initially provided and that which was delivered was not exactly generous for four people. Perhaps we just got unlucky that evening but there are better options...
