I want to preface this with. I have worked in the restaurant And service industry for 30 years. I would tell you to abandon all hope once you enter these Gates. Slow service that makes molasses on the coldest winter day. Look fast running. With the same exuberance met to be working that one may have as a pallbearer for a child's funeral. Now I understand working fast food sucks. I've done it. But there's a level of self-loathing that seems so grossly on the faces of these either overworked or underpaid or both employees. But that really doesn't explain the disgusting nature of this place. Upon walking in counters are covered in food in places there should be no food. Just detritis laying there paper towels laying on tables. Nothing clean. Nothing bust. Dirty tables everywhere. But it can be a busy rush and that happens. But it was gross enough that I wouldn't want to eat the food there. But I decided to wait in line anyway because in for a penny, in for a pound. Zo we find our intrepid reviewer braving the line slowly benching his way through waiting as the soulless dead look in the eyes of the person folding burritos with no concern for where food goes in or out of it shambles his way through rolling. When finally I get called upon none of the main ingredients that I'm looking for in my burrito bowl are there. When I asked to speak to a manager I'm told they're not available. I'm not a Karen. I'm really not one to complain. But it was gross enough that I would never want to eat food for the cane from there and the service was so under par that the price point for what they're charging you may as well be getting paid to be eating there.
Do not pass, go. Do not eat this food. Trust me the dysentery you get will...
Read moreI ordered 2 burrito bowls and 2 guacamole sides on chipotle website for pickup at Brentwood Towne Square store. The guac sides were not in my bag. I noticed when I got home. I called the store and I was told I had to do refund on the website. I tried to go on website and did not have any success. It was not user friendly and I had to chat with Penney. At first they couldn’t find my order number, but after 3 tries it finally did. It asked me what my issue was. I clicked on ( item not in bag.). Then the web site just froze. I was not getting anywhere. I called the store back to ask to talk to a manager. I talked to manager. I told her my issue that 2 items were missing from my order. The first thing she said was “ I don’t know how that happened”. The first thing she should have Said was “I’m sorry.” I asked if she could credit my credit card. She said “no”. She said your best bet is to call 1-800 number. She did say I could stop back in to get my guacomole. That was a very big inconvenience. She also told me “it happens all of the time”- that items are missing from their orders. Horrible Horrible customer service. She didn’t offer to have someone to call me about the refund. I work in customer service and I know errors are made. The first thing a store manager should do is to validate customer issue. Which in this case is to apologize to me. It seems as though Chipotle website will process order and take your money, but the stores don’t care how the orders are packed and don’t take responsibility after that. I WILL NOT BE BACK and I will make sure everyone knows about my experience there and how I...
Read moreI hate to leave bad reviews but this place just can’t seem to get it right. First time I went there I could see the guy slice his glove into the steak. Whether he realized it or not, he was slicing through a loosely fitting glove and then just pushed it off the board into the pan. From that point the only thing I really ordered was chips and guacamole/queso/salsa to go. Today I decided to give them another shot since it’s been awhile and I like brisket. Well the brisket wasn’t ready (not that big of a deal, bad timing), but when asked if the chicken was white or dark meat, breast or thigh, the person kind of looked bewildered and stated that the chicken was cut up. Alrighty, wont be getting chicken then and went with the barbacoa. It was fine but I had to dump the juice/water/liquid out of the bowl because it was sopping wet. Going the safe route, I got the standard guacamole and queso and chips as well, but that fell short too. The chips weren’t salted, they were incredibly greasy, and they were literally flimsy chewy - threw them in the trash. This was for lunch too so it wasn’t like it was a bunch of high school kids just learning how to work in society. Suppose I’m not going back to this chipotle for...
