I have driven by this place hundreds of times and last night was my first time stopping in. A craving for a burrito and a quick online search of local Mexican restaurants led me here. For reference the restaurant closes at 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and I got there 20 minutes before closing. Upon walking up I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The outside of the restaurant has such a nice ambiance. They have great looking tables and chairs that were clean and give you the option to enjoy your meal outdoors. You’re surrounded by beautiful string lights they have hung, and the sound of Mexican music playing. There’s an easily accessible walk up window where you can place an order. I told the woman at the window, who I later learned is named Balbina, that it was my first time eating here and asked a few questions. She was so friendly, kind, and informative. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, and her knowledge of the menu left me comfortable with my food choice. She even recommended that I come back and try their birria tacos sometime. I ordered a super carnitas burrito and paid the $.75 extra for chips and salsa. My burrito came out to a little over $11 with tax. When my order was ready it had gotten a little cold outside so I asked if they had indoor seating as well, which they did. I was warmly welcomed into their indoor area of the restaurant filled with comfortable booths and tables. I sat down and unwrapped my burrito and was highly impressed with the size and accuracy. I definitely felt like I was getting what I paid for. It was huge! Each and every ingredient that made up the inside of the burrito were evenly distributed throughout the entire burrito and the quality was outstanding. This made me very very happy and left me satisfied. The chips are homemade and delicious! The salsa was also really flavorful and great! I tried 3 different kinds and enjoyed them all. Even though it was close to closing time, I never once felt like they were pushing me out or staring at me to leave, the way some restaurants will do. I’m very aware and respectful regardless in that aspect and I didn’t stay long after 9pm. To say I am highly impressed with my experience here is an understatement. This experience was truly a breath of fresh air for me when it comes to dining in restaurants. The customer service Balbina provided me with left me feeling truly valued as a customer there, and even more so, Balbina restored my faith in humanity in general! She is absolutely amazing!! Kindness seriously goes a long way! Muchas gracias Balbina!! And muchas gracias to the wonderful staff who made my burrito amazing! I will recommend this restaurant to family and friends and will definitely be back soon to try the birria...

We've eaten food from here on several occasions and have always enjoyed the meal. Orders can take awhile at times, ordering ahead helps. This past time we were missing a couple items, 2 of the same tacos. I called and we are working to resolve the matter. They offered to make it right away but I wasn't able to drive back. The bosses were not available for refund so I'm waiting to hear back from them. The occasional longer waits and the missing items with no manager on-site to issue immediate refund are the reasons for the 4 star rating specific to service. The website is acceptable but could use a few modifications to make it more user friendly. The environment at the location is extremely casual. More like a fast food spot or somewhere you'd stop simply to eat, not to relax and enjoy a dining experience. This is my readon for the 4 stars specific to atmosphere. As a result, we prefer to eat our food from here at home or other environment. I do like the placement of the takeout window. Overall, I consider this one of the best Mexican takeout, and possibly better than most dine-in, restaurants in the local area. The food seems to be consistently high quality and...

Do not come here and do not do business with their catering team. Charged us more than we were quoted then tried to ask for more money the following day. The brother of the owner did the calculations in front of us. We reluctantly agreed to the up charges. Owner was in Mexico so his brother took the check from us IN PERSON the night of the party, but the owner came back from the trip harassing for more money for days. He texted asking for more money, when we confirmed the total and said that’s the amount we paid, he then said oh no it was actually more. He started calling from different numbers, even showing up to our home. Voting one star when we should be calling the police and the better...

First time there. I was looking for Birria Tacos In the area. They had Quesabirria tacos so its basically birria tacos with melted cheese inside. And I asked for the dipping "Consome" on the side. They looked good BUT to be completely honest they lacked in flavor and the dipping consome also lacked so much so that I had to add salt and some lime. But they were VERY FILLING TACOS. They put a lot of meat in them and they are big, I'll give them that. Other then that some positives of this place- they have some tables outside, the staff is nice enough, they work at good pace. The rice drink aka HORCHATA WAS GOOD!

Ordered their menudo for the first time and pretty underwhelmed. Maybe Im just used to having menudo rojo but the taste was bland and not fatty at all. Honestly I feel like it was just chicken broth minus the arbol and guajillo chiles in it. It also did not have any hominy which was disappointing. As for the sides they gave me, they didn't include cilantro and only a small portion of diced onions. This was disappointing considering their tacos and birria's are pretty good. It also seems like since they moved into the bigger location, their quality and service has kind of dropped. All good. Lesson learned.

Absolutely the Freshest most Authentic Mexican food I have ever had! The Lengua IS my favorite and you will never find better! The rice..The beans..I would travel 250 miles to eat here! Glad they're closer!! I have no photo because I was too busy eating my food to take pics. Once you eat here you'll understand. I usually don't eat my garnish. I wonder if the lady that cooks there is single?? I wonder if i should tell my wife my intentions. She's eaten there...She should understand. Lol
