Ikura Sushi — Restaurant in Brentwood

Food: Quality food but a bit overly pricey. The pork ramen was really great quality but the other option, the Miso, was talked down about by the staff. The menu was very small so not much selection, but quality for what you get, for the most part...and you'll pay for it. Everything on the menu (aside from the thai tea at almost $3) was between $2-$8 more than it should be from the perspective of its local competition. Service: The staff were very nice and attentive, though I think the server was watching what I was scrolling through on my phone from the window behind me because he came up to me and started talking about the movie I was reading a review of. Hmm boundaries? That was a bit creepy. Ambiance: Plain, clean and hastle-free dining experience with a sushi chef that has an infectious passion for what he does. Overall I recommend...but honestly, you can find as good or almost as good, with a greater variety,...

This place is great and I am so excited a friend introduced me. I moved from Dallas and my only disappointment with Franklin is the food - Nashville has some great places, but Franklin not so much. The sushi at Ikura is fantastic, fresh - it rivals any good sushi restaurant. The only negative - for Ikura - is it is not on a well travelled road and kind of sits in the back. I don't think many people know about it. The miso soup is truly some of the best I've ever had - fresh & seasoned well. Every roll I've had has been delicious - one I asked Chef Himmi to take off something I'd missed on menu and didn't want. He completely remade. The fried rice is amazing. I promise you will not be disappointed. Yay!!!! We finally have a great sushi restaurant closer than Nashville. Chef Himmi actually came from a well know sushi restaurant in nashville - since I'm new here, I forgot the name! Y'all go and please...

I got ramen, and that RAW EGGS FLAVOR was super strong. I was kinda surprised, and I didn't dig it, not even the noodles. Bummer, but I gotta say, if you're not into raw egg flavor, that soup might not be your jam. ............... Great Experience Overall

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, with Melanie standing out for their warmth and attentiveness. The atmosphere was enhanced by the music, contributing to a relaxed vibe.

The BBQ eel was delicious, though a bit less rice would have been ideal. The gyoza was perfectly prepared. The sushi area was beautifully presented, though the restrooms, while clean and fresh-smelling, could use some updates.

The staff exuded a positive energy throughout the meal. I will definitely be returning and highly...
