I had an order for a museum project for an out-of-state client that required over 25 large-format custom framing, involving many different pieces.

I went in for about $30 worth of yarn but saw 40% off so I ended up with $100 worth. Went thru self checkout but it wasn't ringing up 40% so I cancelled the order. The manager was checking others out old school so I got back in line. As i was waiting behind several people, he said I needed a QR code to do it with self checkout. I explained I didn't have a phone. He then repeated it again before my turn. When it was my turn, he said you already bagged them? And I AGAIN explained I couldn't complete it thru self check out, no phone. He then said you have to use your phone if u want the discount!! They could not do anything to override this apparently.
