Edited rating because of the appropriate response. I acknowledge it was an honest mistake, and the person who made it was genuinely trying to correct it. However, I still didn’t receive a full refund—regardless of the amount, being shortchanged is not okay. When that employee asked another staff member for help, the response I got was “no refunds,” delivered in a way that made me feel dismissed and left a bad impression. I was relieved to get most of it refunded, but the interaction left me uncomfortable and I didn’t feel right pushing the issue further.
During my visit, I had a frustrating issue that wasn’t handled properly. I was shopping for Pokémon singles and clearly communicated which cards I wanted. At one point, I examined a very off-centered card, handed it back with no intent to buy, yet it was still added to my transaction without confirmation.
When I noticed the mistake before leaving the store, I immediately returned to the counter. At first, I was told “no refunds,” which was already disappointing. The card was eventually taken back, but I was only refunded $31 in cash for a $30 card. With Williamson County’s 9.75% sales tax, the refund should have been higher. Not receiving the full amount left me feeling as though I wasn’t treated fairly.
I understand the employee may have been distracted—several children were opening packs and asking about values at the same time—but that shouldn’t prevent accurate transactions or proper refunds. Customers should never leave feeling shortchanged.
I strongly encourage your store to ensure that: Employees confirm purchases clearly before finalizing transactions. Refunds, when necessary, are processed in full, including sales tax. Staff remain attentive to the customer they are serving, even in busy situations.
This experience left me with a negative impression, and I hope steps are taken so other customers don’t feel...
Read moreupdated review the below remains the same, I just love this place.
This place is amazing — hands down the best card shop in Franklin. They have tons of sealed product, a fair trade-in policy, and a super friendly staff. I’d love to give them 5 stars (and I’m sure I will in the future), but there’s just one thing holding me back: the availability of raw and PSA-graded Pokémon cards.
As someone who stops in once or twice a week since they opened (and plans to keep coming back), I’d really love to see a stronger selection in that area. Hunting for raw and graded cards is one of the main things that excites me about visiting, and if the shop could keep more of that inventory in stock, this place would truly be a dream.
I don’t pretend to understand what it takes to run a card shop, but I’d highly recommend following the hype and stocking the things that are most popular. Even designating someone to shop FBM and buy lots could make a huge difference. It would just be amazing to see that addition!
Still, it’s a wonderful shop, and I’ll definitely continue...
Read moreBought a box and opened it in the store. Immediately noticed about 15 of the 100 cards were damaged on the corners. Showed the associates and was told I would have to take it up with Topps customer service. Over 30 years of collecting and have not had a box with that many dinged cards.... not sure its a Topps issue but I'll run it through customer service. UPDATE - Topps policy is they will only entertain replacement requests for the current year. Beware buying...
