This is in regards to McDonalds delivery service. If ZERO was a rating it would still be too much! My order total was over 60 dollars when the driver dropped the order off it clearly read 2/2. I stopped him and asked where my other bag was. He shock his head as if he didn’t understand me. I held the bag up pointed to the numbers and explained that this is marked 2/2 we are missing the bag marked 1/2. He shrugged his shoulders and drove off!! I opened the bag and there were only 4 drinks! NO FOOD WHATSOEVER!! I quickly called customer service and she offered me a refund. On Everything that was missing. I then got in my car and drove to McDonalds. I assumed the missing bag would still be on the shelf where they place the deliveries. To my shock the SAME DELIVERY DRIVER was standing in line. I thought “ oh he must of returned to get the rest of my order. I’ll wait till it’s filled and tell him I’ll take it from here” But that wasn’t the case at all… he was picking up another order! When I asked him where the rest of my items were he ignored me and walked out the door! I turned to the cashier and explained what had happened and showed her my receipt that was taped to the bag 2/2. . She said she personally filled that order! So I waited another 15 minutes to receive the missing food and the more I waited the angrier I got. I finally returned home over an hour after we had placed the original order and I phoned customer service again. I wanted to give the driver the benefit of the doubt … we all make mistakes. However, when he acted as if he had no clue what I was talking about… I got mad! I not only tipped him I Up-tipped him plus deliver charges. I asked customer service for a full refund after explaining everything that had transpired. I was told “SORRY MCDONALDS DOESNT GiVE FULL REFUNDS. YOU ALREADY RECEIVED MAXIMUM REFUND. “ (Refund for missing items) I said,” Yes that’s right but that was before I saw the SAME driver taking another order and had NO INTENTIONS OF RETURNING WITH MY FULL ORDER!” I absolutely should NOT have to pay for delivery when I’m the one who delivered. I also wanted a refund for the tip he didn’t earn! I was told he couldn’t do that either. I said to him “well then if the full order was filled and placed on the shelf… like the employee stated… then what happened to my order?” He said “ Well I can not say” I said, “ Well I can say where it wasn’t” “It wasn’t delivered to me” “It wasn’t at McDonalds” “ But it was filled and picked up!” Hmm it’s not that big of a stretch to figure out where it’s at and why I had to physically drive, order, pick up , and drive home… Just to have to pay someone else for the delivery that never took place ! If McDonalds policy is to never give full refunds then I personally will never ever go there again!!! In addition to spreading the word of McDonald’s refund policies! I will be posting on massive review sites. Because I can guarantee you the public isn’t aware of this ridiculous refund policy! *Beware of McDonald’s delivery service!!!!! Ps. Read moreThe Cahier, a minor, as I was painfully made aware of multiple times was unbelievably rude from the moment they ripped my 20 dollar bill out of my hand making almost drop the change to the moment I pulled away. They handed back incorrect change. So I look at them and said "I believe you have me incorrect change. I handed you a 20" they looked at me like they didn't believe me so I added. " I will gladly make you count your whole drawer. They then stared at me blank faced slammed the drive through window and went to get their manager that I am guessing she said I was yelling at them, I wasn't, or the other manager in the office behind her would have came over or said something, and the kitchen would have been talking, I assure you. When the manager came up I told her what happened and she said l, "you aren't going to talk to her like that she's a minor" and i said "excuse me, all I did was tell her if she didn't give me correct change I was going to make her count her drawer. I gave her 20.26 and she gave me 7 back. She owes me 10." And again like I had cussed this kid out says I'm not going to talk to her like that she is a minor." So I said whatever took my correct change and got my food. Went home and called the manager, explained the first part of the interaction. She tells me the girls has already been written up for her attitude can't work in. The kitchen because she is too young and again repaets the "she is a minor and only 14 and you should not talk to her like that" so I told her that maybe the kid should grow up before she gets a job and she hung up on me.
I know this job is trying, and I'm sorry that obviously from the reviews this girl and her manager have had a rough what, 4 months now? But I rocked that window and every other position at the McDonald's in St. Albans, WV for 3 years at 15, and it helped me immensely, but I had an attitude of success going into my first job. Read moreAt a kiosk I ordered my usual meal a medium deluxe QP with Root beer. The kiosk didn't print my receipt. After finally getting the attention of a worker I asked her for a receipt. She said one would be with my bag. That was a lie. So i ask again and I was told with a bit of attitude from 2 female employees that there was no way to get me a receipt because I ordered at the kiosk I told her that that's not true. She went to get the superior in charge, a very tall stoned out of his gord , black man. He told me the same thing when he finally comprehended what I was asking for (the reciept) I said how about you refund the order and let me reorder the food without having to remake the food (I intended on keeping the food that was already prepared for me) now this guy got attitude and said word for "Thats to much who gonna do that?" I replied "me and anyone else that has to verify their purchases". I repeated that I didn't want the food remade to simply get me a reciept. He started a refund and printed out a refund ticket and he asked if that would work. I was so annoyed at how long it took to get the food in an empty resturaunt and how dumb and high some of the employees were and not to mention that 2 of the females were in their pajamas working, that I just accepted it knowing that it wasn't going to work on my end cause it clearly says "REFUND" on the slip. Hello duhhh. I get in my car and take a bite of my burger and it was good. I reached my hand into the bag to get a mouth full of them golden fries and they were as cold and dead as they could be. I would have gone back in any other time but I was not about to be a part of the next viral video getting beat up by wanna be thugs.
