Pizza Guys — Restaurant in Brentwood

Never again. After reading other reviews, it all makes sense. If the owners hire the bottom of the barrel, their service will be at the bottom. And it is. My first review was deleted. I guess being honest isn't in Google's rule book. I paid for a delivery and never got it. I was very fortunate and received lots of excuses and even hung up on by what I thought was a high schooler, but it was the manager. Fifty bucks isn't a big deal, but im one of fortunate ones. What if this was far a family struggling and planned on having those pizzas for dinner and lunches the next day. It was already late evening when I ordered and they DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO CALL ME AND EXPLAIN THEY WERE NOT GOING TO BRING MY FAMILY DINNER. Id still be waiting if I hadn't called them.

I cant think of any reason why they couldn't call. Maybe its too much to ask. Maybe COVID is way more destructive than we thought. Its probably Trumps fault for not calling thay manager and giving her detailed instructions on how to handle such an extraordinary situation. It has to be, according to Pizza Guys management team, they did nothing wrong. Iys not their responsibility to take care of their customers.

Needless to say, spend your money elsewhere. In today's economy, if a business cant provide decent service or at least the items PAID FOR, they should go away. Support the business that deserve it. And I do truly hope by they have at least a few illegal workers and health...

I thought all pizza guys would be the same? I got a takeaway pizza in Davis a few months back and it was good. Nothing fancy, just a pepperoni pizza.

So, I decided to get one delivered in Oakley. Severe disappointment!!! Nothing like Davis.

I had pretty much forgotten this until I got a call from Julie at Pizza Guys this afternoon. She was very polite, friendly and was genuinely concerned that I did not have a good experience.

She offered a special deal to let them try again with another pizza delivery. Very different to yesterday. Pizza delivered on time and was night and day by comparison.

I have great respect for a person and a company who instead of ignoring reviews, take the time and effort to put things right. That's exactly what happened here. Therfore my original 1* has been altered to 5*. Go...

When I picked up my pizza I had to yell to the back of the store to get something to help me? My pizza got home and looked at it it looked like a frozen store Pizza. Very little toppings and cheese. I ordered the dessert baked goods or whatever all it was was churros cut up some white sugar icing in a plastic package not like the picture of a little cup that look like whipped cream cheese. Horrible deceiving some of the churros were hard as a rock. Could not eat them. All of this for $30 plus of my money? But got a free 2 litter soda to wash it down? Very unhappy!
