I have to report this somewhere - I'm still mad about how i was treated. After a 3 hour drive, I thought I'd stop for sushi before my final destination. I also had to use the restroom. The place was empty, save for the 4 staff I saw and the restaurant, according to Google, was open until 9pm. I got there at at 8pm. I was "greeted" by a short woman in flip flops who told me that it was only take out now. I asked if I could use the restroom first and she told me it was busy, so I looked over a menu. But after driving for a few hours, I really had to go. I noticed that the men's restroom was open, so I told the sushi chef behind the counter that I'm going to try that one. I get in the single room restroom and start to go and then I hear her rushed flip flops running to my restroom door. The same lady who "welcomed" me was trying to open the door and started yelling at me on the otherside of the door. I told her to hold on. When i get out, she told me it wasn't working. But everything was working fine - there was no sign indicating it was out of order - and I told her so. I also told her I was ready to order, but as I approach one of the other staff, i couldn't bring myself to patronize a restaurant that would treat anyone this way. I told them, i wasnt interested in buying anything from now and the same woman said "you just wanted to use the bathroom anyway". I have never been treated like this before. I was hungry, tired, ready to order but had to use the restroom and I was treated like I was lying and "stealing" the use of the restroom. I'm appalled at this type disgusting behavior. If the management is reading this, please train your staff. NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY. I've eaten here before, I've never her seen her or have been treated like this by anyone else there. But I'm definitely...
Read moreTLDR; don't go here anymore. Quality is no longer same and now is bad.
Edit: I am guessing it is under new ownership? But it is no longer the same. Quality isn't the same. Orders come out incorrect or strange sauces that have never been on a sushi roll on the menu is put on... (Like.. ranch. Literal ranch dressing. I don't know if they grabbed the wrong bottle when making it? But there was no roll like that listed on the menu. I was given a totally random roll from what I ordered...so I think they gave me a mistake order and hoped I wouldnt notice since I was in a rush?? But I don't know. It just didn't look like the picture in the menu and didn't have what was listed on the menu). Another time we got a baked scallop roll and the scallops were cold raw and uncooked and it made the whole family sick. So now after this 2nd time of a bad experience sadly we will have to find a new sushi place. I miss the old chef. His rolls and chef specials were really tasty.
amazing. service is excellent and quality of food is really amazing for the price. we tried the girlyman roll (chef creation so it's random) and it was so good. i definitely recommend it. Also Papa San is super delicious too. New...
Read moreI have been here several times, always get the same thing and it’s always been amazing, the front host lady has always been super sweet and welcoming and the food has always been perfect. Today though the host lady I’ve never seen before was super unhelpful and rude. And the sushi was poorly built. It was way different than usual and literally falling apart and unrolling itself before we even touched it. Ingredients usually in the roll were just placed on top. And it was super hard to eat because it was just falling apart in chunks of rice and I’m super disappointed. It’s always been so amazing so idk what’s going on there but today was not good service or food. It tasted good but didn’t taste right because it was basically sushi salad. And I ordered 2 rolls and they were both just shoved in one box and only one set of chopsticks. The host lady was super rude about asking for extra sauce and almost wouldn’t hand it to me because “there is one in the bag” but it was for 2 people. We had to go get plates so we didn’t have to eat out of...
