Lone Tree Buffet — Restaurant in Brentwood

Been going back. I think they learn from our reviews. They have improved a lot. I'm impressed. I actually am. Being treated kindly now. I gave a $10 tip last time. The young lady was very attentive.

They could still use sliced raw mushrooms, kidney beans, bean sprouts, chunks of pineapple, not those slices which are to much work to eat, chunks of cheeses added to the salad bar. Get the ranch tasting like ranch dressing. Sunflower seeds as well, I don't remember seeing them. Still no beef and broccoli. And bring back coconut shrimp instead of mayo shrimp.

They got banana pudding and tapioca pudding. My two favorite puddings. Yeah! They got rid of the strawberries though.

They listen to our suggestions here. They are much better than when I started going here. Much more politer. A much more nicer environment. China Wall Buffett lost out. Much more variety here and they even brought back ousters.

No beef and broccoli yet. I like steamed broccoli with melted cheese over it.

They got my business. Went about 3 times this month. Might go today. 10-27-2022

I went back again last week or so. Today is 10-8-2022. I went on my mobility scooter. They where kind, gave me my own table. Checked my drink all the time. The food was even better. Total change. I'm bumping the stars from 3 star rating to 5 star rating. They have way better choices than China Wall Buffett in Concord that only serves...

Beware of cross contaminated food, food not at the right temperature, and undercooked food ! We normally do not come here because the food and service is never good but decided to since it has been a few years. Definitely had low expectations before arriving. The food was pretty decent and the service was as always bad. All the waiter's have to do is refill drinks and pick up dirty dishes, they can't even do both without us having to ask.

But to get to the cross contamination, food at the wrong temperature, undercooked food part. Got home about an hour or 2 after eating here and my husband's stomach started to hurt. 30 minutes later he goes to the toilet and well..the symptoms of food poisoning begins. We all got different things to eat so its hard for us to determine what caused it. We're thinking probably the seafood. I did notice that when they clean the area of where the food is, they'll wipe down the counters and if there is food they'll just put it back in the tray where customers get food.

Long story short, if you are planning on eating here be extremely careful on what you're planning on eating. All in all we are definitely never coming...

For the price you can't go wrong and most of the food here is pretty darn good. I especially love their mini sushi bar that has a pretty great Variety and pretty decent sushi. You're not going to get any awesome rolls due to cost... But the Simplicity is nice and again the quality is decent . Some of the other food here looks a little scary... But then again there so much variety you can skip all that and go for the stuff that you like. The place is generally pretty clean with the exception of a few tables that kids that made a mess but they are somewhat fast to clean it up. If you're looking for a place that has personality and fun staff... This is definitely NOT the place to go. Staff here is rigid and cold and need some help with their customer service. Not their best attribute by far... this is why they get only three star. They need to work on more friendly customer service and making customers feel important in order to generate more repeats and good reviews. The food alone can somewhat stand on its own but could definitely be a huge Factor if they worked on those things to improve...
