Peruvians, rejoice! There is a Peruvian restaurant local in Brick, NJ. We had dinner tonight and learned they have been open just 2 weeks! You can dine-in or take-out. This place was so busy. Friday night and we got one of the 2 open tables left. We watched all the take-out orders come through via phone and internet. They were crazy busy! My husband had the anticochos, grilled beef heart on skewers. We also got papas a la huacaina for apps. We shared a pollo a la brasa, a rotisserie chicken, which came with fried rice, fries and a salad. Peruvian food is all about the heat, a different kind of heat then Mexican. Don't forget to ask for rocoto. It's flavorful and hot! We took alfajores to go, short bread sandwich cookies with a dulce de leche center. Staff was amazing and attentive.

Ordered some tallarines verdes(pesto noodles with steak), sustancia de carne (soup) y chaufa de pollo(chicken fried rice) Chaufa had some burnt black grease from their kitchen, it was disgusting finding that at the bottom of the dish, soup tasted terrible, has a lot of grease, vegetables were uncooked and beef was so hard to chew, tallarines verdes was bland and sauce tasted like old cream was used. Really disappointed, I attached the pictures of the dishes.

My husband and i were so excited to try this Peruvian food, unfortunately the octopus ceviche was extremely salty, we also ordered a whole chicken and is was over season yet tasteless and salty. We ordered beans and they get a big No NO. Our server also included the tip on our bill. Not happy with the food or the price for the food. Unfortunately, my blood pressure will go thru the roof tonight and i won’t be back. Wishing them lots of luck!

I have been looking for a place like this for a while. There aren’t at great options in Ocean County, once I heard about this place I wanted to try it. I took my family last week and I have to say I was very very impressed with the service and quality of the food. The waitress was very friendly from the moment we stepped in. Appetizers came quick which by the way were very filling. Then the main course meals were even better, when I mean it blew my mind, I mean it blew my mind from flavor, portion size and presentation were all very nicely done. If you are looking for authentic Peruvian cuisine this place takes the crown, I am glad someone finally open a good restaurant locally. Que...

I went to their grand opening and that was the only time the food was good, I returned another day and the food was horrible. I asked the waitresses and they told us the chef was no longer there. I decided to give them another chance and the food was too salty and tasteless. Service was not even good. I went with another person (party of 2) and the waitress recommended us a dish that was for a group of 6-7 and the food wasn’t even good. On top of that she included her tip in to the bill, so I ended up paying $80+ for bad food and mediocre service. I would not recommend this...
