Funny story, I ordered one time and asked for a chicken wing dinner and chicken tender dinner, then when I asked for honey mustard (for my fries) she asked me if I wanted it for my wings and I said yeah enough for my 12 wings. I did not know she would take that as “add on 12 wings” because my dinner came with 12 wings so I thought it would make sense as my dinner. Sadly I picked up, she may have accidentally put me down for more wings, so when I went to go pick up my food, I saw the $37 price and thought ok no somethings wrong, I then asked her (same woman) how many wings I got because I only wanted 12 Not 24. She took it as I wanted 2 more orders of wings So said one more? I said no I just want 12 Only 12 wings nothing else. She looked at my receipt said “no ok, only 12 wings” and smiled. Then I thought ok , I only ordered 12 I guess maybe COVID-19 price hike for two dinners? I wasn’t sure so I paid, gave an $8 tip and left. Once I got to my car I saw she was confused by what I was saying because I ordered my dinner and an extra 12 wings (24 in total), so only an extra 12 to her. While all I wanted were my dinner 12 in total. She was so nice and I just couldn’t get mad and I enjoyed the food so that’s why it’s getting 5 stars. Just be careful when ordering that you don’t mix up your wing dinner by getting an additional 12 wings. She was having a hard time understanding me and I wasn’t understanding her the best either, but she was still kind and polite in...
Read moreLoved Chicken Town but last few times have been poor experiences. Large order for my birthday dinner. The short version.Ordered 24 pc plus sides. Doesn't include mash had to order additional. Wanted large mash and small cole slaw basically. Ended up being 96.00. Come on man!
We ended up with baked beans we didn't order at 14.95 for a small 1 pounder. Person could have offered two 12 pc packs at much cheaper with two mash and side or different packs that would be 30 to 40 dollars less. My wife ordered because I would have righted this wrong. They were difficult and not helpful.
I know everything has gone up but they can offer a suggestion instead of this ridiculous price for a dinner at home. Rude at times in front and on phone. But I work in Bergen county so I'm used to it plus chicken and prices used to be good. That has changed. Time to find a new place for chicken.
Chicken is still pretty good but was burnt another time and taste like old oil. Understand prices have risen to affect profit. But my money is just as important.
**Wow read other reviews with similar experience. That says it all. Too bad I used to tell everyone...
Read moreNot a fan. Chicken pieces are super small. The chicken smells like it's been over cooked in dirty oil. Front desk is slow to acknowledge that you are even there. Food was ready in 15 minutes. I came back to get my order. They didn't even look up to acknowledge I was there. I saw my order inside a plexiglass case. Since this was my first time there and no one acknowledged I was there, I asked if I should reach in the case to get my order since I already paid. One of the male cooks said in a very stern and cocky tone .... YOU CAN HAVE YOUR FOOD WHEN I HAND IT TO YOU...
I dont want to argue with anyone especially infront of my kids. I never been there before and never will again. Left there insulted infront of my kids. Like I should know their routine when I never been there before and no one acknowledged I was at the front desk waiting for my food. Rude. Food extremely small cooked in dirty oil. Way past hold times. Customer service terrible. .
No competition for Kentucky fried chicken. I wanted to shop local. To give back to community. Cook was not nice. Front desk oblivious to customers. Food...
