Merengon Usa Colombian Desserts — Restaurant in Brick Township

Ii went here recently with my family out of curiosity. We were a little intimidated at first because the menu was entirely in Spanish and we weren’t familiar with Colombian desserts to know what or how to order. However, the young woman helped us through the entire process and provided samples and suggestions. It actually turned out to be really easy. I had asked for apple as a topping without realizing it wasn’t one of the presented options. Still, she grabbed a fresh apple and cut it up on the spot for me. I don’t know if they’d normally do this, but that level of service was phenomenal. The merengon was absolutely delicious. The flavor and texture were both something quite new for me. The portion was definitely large enough for at least two servings, but I simply could not put it down and wound up eating the whole thing in one sitting. It is a very light dessert. My husband surprised me with meringue with strawberry, passion fruit, and mango and WOW. It was so delicious. The fruit and whipped cream were fresh and meringue melted in your mouth. Also my husband mentioned that the staff and owner were friendly, hospitable, and you can tell they were passionate about their menu.
