My first Sunday off from work since last April. I decided since I moved to Brick let me go out and grab some breakfast before I start my day and support a local business from the town that I am living in. Being in the restaurant and bar industry for over 17 years and owning a pizzeria for 8 years on top of that I understand when it is busy it is easy to Neglect a customer. I sat at the bar top being that I was by myself and did not want to take up a whole table. I sat there for 20 mins with with no help. The mess still on the bar from the previous customer before me. Finally get a server to acknowledge me and took my drink order which was one apple juice. Another 10 minutes go by and which seem to be the manager on duty asked me if I was helped. I replied no And he went upon his business. I had a different server asked me for the menu that I was looking at after 35 minutes of still not being able to place my order I decided I was going to leave but asked the gentleman if he was the manager and he replied yes but refused to give me his name therefore drew me to want to write this review it is safe to say that I will not be spending any of my money or days off at this diner in the future. Left $20 on the bar for the apple juice with hopes that the server well understand that neglecting a customer that probably would do it took him 30 seconds to take my order probably lost out on the best tip he would’ve gotten all day and I watched the manager go and take the $20 so obviously he was watching me the whole time. Read moreA Hidden Gem Rediscovered! I hadn't been to The Corner Post Diner in years, but I'm so glad I stopped in recently it won't be that long again! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. Our server, Maria, provided warm, attentive service that made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable.
The soup, entrées, and salad bar all earn an A+ in my book. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I especially loved the nostalgic touch of oldies music playing softly in the background it added to the cozy, welcoming vibe.
Whether you're a longtime local or just passing through Brick, this spot is worth a visit (or a revisit)! I’ll definitely...
Read moreThis is my favorite diner in Brick, NJ. They never fail to please. The food is always fantastic! The Staff and Owner are always pleasant and personable! Just like Cheers, whether they know you or you are new they love you and if they know your name they always use it. Callie and Sara are our favorites, but everyone is nice! I also love when people who have the audacity of giving a 1 star review comes in, because the rest of us gets a great meal and a show. Anyone who has the nerve to leave a bad review on people trying to do their best, especially these days should be ashamed of themselves, especially those in the business!! We love and will always keep going...
