Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Brick Township

What happen today nearly brought tears to our eyes. My wife and I were picking up lunch for friends of ours. While making our sandwiches, the gentleman slicing the meat asked if we had any plans for the weekend. We proceeded to tell him how we were picking up lunch to meet friends where one was recovering from a successful cancer surgery. When we went to pay for the meal, the manager who overheard what we were talking about informed us the meal was taken care of and that the meal was on Jersey Mikes. They even wrote a “get well soon” message on the sandwich.

Some things go far beyond just the product that a company creates or serves. It’s important to remember the people that make up a business and Jersey Mikes, at least at this location in Brick, showed that their hearts are truly in their work. They showed that the human spirit is alive and well. It may not seem like a lot to some people, and they can say oh it’s just a sandwich. What they did goes far beyond the price of a sandwich. They warned our hearts and more importantly they gained out respect and admiration as life...

Do yourself a favor and go to the Bridge Ave. location! This store makes the skimpiest sandwiches, and you have to watch them like a hawk, or they will screw up your toppings. I grew up in Point Pleasant up the street from the Original Mike's. I eat Mike's, at least 2 times a week, for years. I have never given a bad review about anything before, but I just got home with another skimpy sub, with missing toppings! The Bridge Ave. Mike's sandwiches are twice as thick (no exagerationns) Don't take my word for it try it. Also the staff at this location have been very rude on more than one occasion with my Wife. One night they forgot to put the Turkey on a Turkey and Provalone sub! Also everyone in the store makes a completely different sandwich!!!!! Best place to get a! Old version style!! Hand cut cold cuts! Hand made & prepared with the freshest of lettuce onions & tomatoes! My favorite is the? ""American dream!!"" Fresh cooked roast beef, turkey & provolone cheese!! With heavy mayo! Oil, extra vinegar lettuce tomato and onions!! Salt pepper oregano!! On 1 of the best fresh piece of sub roll!!
