Uncle G's Comfort Food — Restaurant in Bridgeport

See this right here… this is what good solid “comfort” food should be like.

I got the dog-a-burger which honestly… has a looot going on. Patty, bacon, hot dog, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, ketchup, mustard and relish on a roll. Sounds like a lot but it just goes together suuuper well. I tried it again another day and subtracted all the condiments for spicy mayo and it completely changed the game.

I also got a basic chili cheese dog and the chili is really good! The problem with a lot of these types of food spots is the chili, if we’re being honest, is just tomato sauce and chili flakes. This chili was a little more heavy on the tomato than I like but I liked the texture with the onions, peppers and spice. You can actually taste the meat in it too.

Def a new go-to for me. Don’t hesitate and grab...

I had it before back in the day it was amazing , came today July 18, 2016 and let me tell you I will never go back !!! I got a steak and cheese it was more like bread and veggies cause there was no Meat what so ever very upset I wasted 10$ on a sub that didn't have any meat .... I really hope they can get it together. Will I come back ...? Maybe not I rather get my money's...

I ordered the pastrami Rueben and it was fantastic. Not often do I see a food truck seemingly permanently set up outside of a home depot and I was a little skeptical at first but the smell and pictures drew me in and I'm thankful it did. The food was delicious and I'll be sure to make a couple more depot runs on this job so I can hit up...
