Myself and two young daughters came in. One man brought us drinks and said nothing else the. We waited quite a while for I guess an owner to come take out order. He begins to take it then stops and says he has to go get another tables order first. OK... Here is my problem, even if they were there before me he could of finished taking my order then went to them and just put mine in after theirs. Im a server and that was a no, no.
Food comes in not a timely manner what so ever and the person who brings the food sets the tray right on the table. That's also a no, no. Those trays sit on top of one another not being washed between uses and get nasty. Set it on an empty table.
Begin to eat, my girls pancakes and waffles were fine. I got an omelette though (if you follow me you know I'm gonna get the omelette almost everytime) so I went with the usual spinach, mushroom and cheese add some bacon. #1 canned mushrooms, gross and why?? So much sodium for one, not fresh at all, would of rather known that previous to ordering. #2 spinach is def not fresh either. Frozen I would imagine and if not canned. Again wish id of known. I ate it of course, but better quality in that department would make for better food.
Will I come back and try again?... Probably and try for a burger... When I was a kid they had a great Blu burger... I wonder how it...
Read moreExcellent! 5-stars! Earned and engraved! I have given five stars for far less and do not expect the balance of great service, quality, value, genuineness, atmosphere. I'ma call this a "Six star breakfast establishment. Roommate and I came in here about 8:45am on a Wednesday after Black Friday. The dine-in crowd was low. Staff had an instant comforting affect. Didn't miss a beat. Approached us in all the right moments, kept the coffee refills coming (on the scale of Dunkin donuts vs Starbucks, I would lean the coffee toward Dunkin Donuts flavor). They have a uniquely lengthy list of Omelets available (with four or five of them being something of a specialty build.) I tried the Mexican Omelette and was dazzled by the perfect flavor balance (taco meat, cheese, picante, jalapenos, onion, 3 eggs). Flavor, texture, and temperature was wickedly mastered (either the chef was lucky, or highly skilled.) Pancakes fluffy, well formed, nice vanilla flavor. Potatoes were rehydrated sliced. Admittedly not a favorite for breakfast potato variety but they were cooked as well as they can be (I did eat them all with a dash of salt). Sausage is available as patties or links. Roommate ordered patties. They had an appetizing well cooked appearance and smelled good. Fantastic breakfast dinner that I WILL...
Read moreI recently went to sunrise restaurant on 06-23-19 I was there for my birthday breakfast like we do every year several times a year my 3 and 9 year olds were served spoiled milk on top of my mothers food having hair cooked in to her food when we confronted the waitress about issues she said she will get owner. We waited 20 min and was told he was busy. When leaving my wife has been going here for years and knew the owner she pulled to the side to tell him what happened he said maybe it was her hair and that milk was not spoiled. My wife left crying because she was hurt that a long time patron would get treated like that or any customers at that.when I told him about my wife he said in a aggressive voice "what are you going to do about it". What a way to run a restaurant! Just wanted to make sure knowone else is served SPOILED food. And treated like you are in the wrong .they did comp the whole meal that no body ate .
