Ok, so let me just start off by saying that I live in South Carolina. My husband has family here in STL, so once a year, we are here visiting family. A year ago, I was searching for new places to eat and stumbled upon this hidden gem that must be St. Ann's best kept secret. Upon walking in the door, you are greeted by a friendly staff who are ready to help you, take your order, and answer any questions you may have. You also see two huge display cases of their homemade donuts, bagels, cakes, cannolis. They also have baklava that they have made locally and brought in. They also have an extensive menu of breakfast items ranging from breakfast sandwiches to breakfast platters, then go as far as burgers, chicken sandwiches, gyros, etc. I can not say enough about this place! I've only had the privilege of visiting here three times, which is the once a year I'm in town. It is on my must visit places. I've had the biscuit and gravy, the chicken egg and cheese bagel sandwich (I'm an everything bagel girl), the burger royal, the cheese fries, the falafel, etc. When it comes to the bakery items, the apple fritter is my favorite. It's one of the best I've ever had. On weekends, they do a blueberry one. I could go on and on about this place but you really just need to get down there and see what you're missing out on. You won't regret it! Eat an apple fritter for me while you're there!

We found this little gem a year ago while visiting St. Louis. I'm from St. Louis but live in South Carolina and come for a week every year to see family and friends. The donuts are fantastic, they remind me of the donuts you'd find in mom and pop shops in the 80s and 90s. My favorite donut is a glazed donut and theirs is perfect. Nice and fluffy, but not too sweet. Long johns, sugar donuts and cinnamon rolls are all some of my favorites. They don't stop there though. They are also a full fledged restaurant serving breakfast all day as well as burgers, cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches. This to me is where they really stand out. Their bagel sandwiches are served on fresh bagels and are delicious. Their burgers are some of the best and I absolutely love their fries especially when they're covered with cheese. Staff has always been friendly and patient with us while we pick out all of our goodies. This has become one of our favorite places to go when we're in town. Wish we had one back at home, I'd be there all the time.

I drive past this bakery on a regular basis driving up to the Rock Road and never would have imagined that this small bakery/restaurant in a tiny strip mall would have such amazing food! My husband only eats white iced long john doughnuts and loved the one he got here. I don't eat doughnuts frequently, so I ordered the strawberry cheesecake doughnut based on the recommendation of the employee who assisted us. It was delicious with great strawberry icing and rich cheesecake filling. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich and was very excited about the number of options that were offered for the bread. He loved the cheese bagel the sandwich was served on. I ordered the grilled chicken omelette. I like my omelettes with a little extra kick, so I added some hot sauce. The chicken was cooked well, and the peppers added a great flavor. It was nice that the omelette wasn't salted much, so it could be seasoned based on the customer's preference. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Sweet Spot is close to home and we've been enjoying it for years.

They have an absolutely huge selection of donuts. Many creative flavors and designs - great for taking to events or gifting. I like that they always have a red velvet cake one - Hubby's fave. I wish they'd add in German Chocolate cake one (my fave). I typically stick to my standard chocolate long john.

I'm not a coffee drinker but Hubby is and so we stop in for coffee on the weekends. He gets the vanilla latte has said it's really good. The price is def good compared to other places we've ordered from.

Today I had lunch for the first time. Ordered through Grubhub from a gift card I was gifted. The entire experience was seamless and I will point out that their delivery fee was low compared to many other restaurants (2.49).

I ordered the philly cheesesteak meal with onion rings and a root beer. It was delivered sealed in a bag with a sticker over my drinks straw hole as well. The food was very secure. It was still hot and fresh upon delivery and I inhaled it lol! Even the onion rings held up! The taste was amazing and so much food!!!! I will be back to try some other lunch and dinner options :)

For seating they have a large dining area and also small tables outside to enjoy during nice weather.

Staff is efficient and helpful. They've helped me select donuts on a few occasions and one time even held my donuts behind the counter for me when I forgot my wallet (had my purse, but not wallet, yes it was very embarrassing but they made it less so by giving me grace).

Definitely stop here if you are...

It started bad at the beginning and ended badly. This the the first time coming here and I found the menu a bit hard to read. When I asked the the sandwich breakfast combo came with I was told 2 donuts or any of these side. Those sides looked like lunch which I found strange but I decided to go with donuts. Then ordered a Bacond Egg and Cheese Croissant with a mocha which seemed to annoy the cashier who told me it doesn't come with it and I could only get coffee (I would consider mocha coffee) or soda. The other cashier told her ring things up separate, ok so it's not a deal whatever. But then when I picked out my donuts I was told that it wasn't included in the meal because I didn't pick something on a white tray. So you are already ringing me up separately what difference does it make? And maybe next time let me know that "donuts on the white tray are included" not the donuts. I got my order to go and had a bit of a wait for the sandwich and unfortunately when got to where I was going and opened the sandwich I was disappointed. They gave me a sandwich on a donut, not a croissant and it was so greasy and sticky it was disgusting. I don't even think I...
