This is an Applebee's. It has chain restaurant food. One thing I don't like? The wait staff doesn't know how to treat an actual customer.
For example, I walk in to get a carry-out order sent in by my wife. I give the stick thin goth girl up front the first and last name of my wife. She says it's not done even though we have gotten the "your order is done" text. OK. I wait 10 minutes and a tattooed 20 something lady comes out and asks if I am waiting. Again, I give the first and last name of my wife. Tattoo girl goes away, and comes back 5 minutes later and tells me that there is no order under that name. I again tell he my wife's first name, but this time I accentuate the first name. She comes back 5 minutes later with the order, and tells me that, no, it wasn't under our last name, it was under my wife's first name, implying somehow that I was supposed to know how their system works, what name (first or last) is used to pull and order, and what is going on in tattoo girls head.
I just want my food and I want to go home. I don't care if the waitress is right or wrong about the name my food is under. And the problem is that I could give you other examples of a similar lack of service.
I respect people who do service work. I hate it when a server forgets that I am the customer. If you don't want to be there, please quite and go do...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePassive aggressive staff and management, they dont train their employees, keep acknowledged inept employees but disregard the concerns of others. does not take criticism without retaliation as i overheard phone call of a newer employee getting frustrated over no help or training and the manager told him to read a letter on the company email site. instead of addressing the issue they fire him via telling him over the phone to read a email that fires him. so passive aggressive they WILL NOT have even physical conversation? if this is how they treat human beings i dont need to eat or work here. i dont care if homeboy deserved to be fired, you need to have the professionalism and human dignity to fire someone in person or at least tell them with your human voice. this shows how management handles adversity or uncomfortable situations here. how do i know this as a customer you might ask? well theres a table by the bar where non productive employees seems to gather and gossip. how else would I know they two best cook ladies are on vacation and they are struggling to stay afloat without them? maybe treat your people better and train them and you wouldnt be reliant on only 2 employees....do better "general manager" Charles. Grow a pair and use your voice like a big...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm giving no stars to represent the complete lack of work that is happening in this restaurant!!! We practically sat ourselves waited 8 minutes after we noticed that we hadn't been greeted by a server!! I started getting out of my seat to go ask the bartender Nikki (we will talk about her later) who our server even was! Not sure why Toni "wasted his time" taking our orders...the bartender took 20 minutes to make a Smoothie and pour a glass of wine!! and when Toni delivered our food Toni had completely disregarded how my husband ordered his meal. Toni's fault not the kitchen! Seems to be the only fully functional part the restaurant! Good work kitchen!! Too bad your wait staff and bartender and manager Christine completely FAIL!!! On our way out, I overheard another table say to Toni "sorry to bother you...". If that doesn't say it all I don't know what does... I could have gone home poured my own glass of wine and put it in a to-go cup and come back in the time it took Nikki to fill my glass! Just add it to your list of yet another Brighton restaurant that is completely unusable. I wonder what they'll call the Mexican restaurant that...
