Had lunch here with co workers today. Overall not a great experience. First red flag, no prices on the drink menu, second red flag, they do not have their gluten free menu on the website. If you have a gluten allergy you always want to check out their gluten free menu ahead of time. Third red flag, an employee laying on the sofa outside the ladies room. The burrito I ordered off the lunch menu was terrible! I literally spit it out. I don’t know if it was the sauce or some seasoning but it was awful. Also it came with refried black beans instead of pinto beans which was stated on the menu. The burrito also came with a slice of tomato. Everyone else had diced tomatoes. I asked for a chicken taco salad instead. It was completely devoid of any seasoning and my friend, the sliced tomato made a return on the taco salad. The 2 ladies that got the fajita taco salads enjoyed them. One of my lunch companions, who is gluten free, ordered the tostada and did not enjoy it. 2 people ordered large skinny margaritas and they were $23 a piece! I know 5 people who will not recommend or visit this establishment again. Oh and I was charged for the nasty burrito, not the taco salad

The food was sub par, my husband orders the pollo toluca from our local Los Tres so he knows what it is supposed to taste like, the chicken was dry, very salty, cheese sauce he said tasted like waxy Velveeta, (he didn't finish it)my shrimp tacos I only ate one the shrimp was rubbery, the sauce tasted like thousand island with water added to it, so there are no prices on the drink menu, the waitress recc the skinny peach margarita when I asked her about sugar content, get the bill, the small margarita was $11 and mine which wasn't much bigger was $23 plus an extra $1 for peach! That is an unexpected cost--usually the waitress will give you a warning, if I tasted SOME tequila (like the name of the joint)I wouldn't have been so upset! So the waitess was short and snide when I asked for the manager, he gave us .50 off without even responding to me, just told the waitress They were dead when Bourbons across the street was hopping, now I see why

I hate to leave bad reviews BUT our experience today at Casa Tequila was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. A) the bench seating was VERY uncomfortable. We ended up having our skinny teens sit there because they are so narrow and they commented that it felt like in addition to being narrow the back was tiled and uncomfortable. B) the waitress was… at best rude. I know people have bad days BUT it felt from the beginning that she was annoyed we were there. She made a bad experience worse for sure. C) the food was BAD. We got a quesadilla full of grated cheese that was not even warm. Same with the cheese on the nachos. Even the Queso and chorizo apprizer was a nearly warm cheese coagulation of ewww. With all the Mexican choices in this town I strongly recommend you skip this one. 1 star for the Pepsi which my sister said was wonderful.

I went to dinner here after a funeral yesterday. I picked this place based off the reviews I found on here. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the lucky ones with a good experience.

I ordered Tacos de Carne Asada in Corn Tortillas and the waitress asked if I wanted rice or beans (Didn't bother to tell us that it wasn't actually a side and she was going to charge us $3.50 for it). When my food came, the tacos were in flour tortillas and came with no Pico de Gallo (Menu claims its included). I asked the runner/busser (Since our waitress was barely seen and he's who brought our food) to take it back as I had specifically asked if they came as corn tortillas and was told yes.

My food came back a second time in a hard shell taco like you'd get at taco bell, and at this point it was cold and still not what I ordered. I found the waitress and told her to take it off since I wasn't going to eat cold food. She took the tacos off, but not the rice that I didn't eat or know I was charged for until the end.

To top it off, they felt it was a good idea to start mopping the floors before they even closed while customers were still inside. Causing my heels to slide, me to slip, and hyper extend my hip while trying to leave this establishment. At this point i was angry, embarrassed, and hungry.

Not a single worker in the establishment cared to check if I was ok after the slip. They made it very clear they don't care about their customers.

Needless to say, I wont...

Long wait, terrible service, blah food. Better Mexican food pretty much everywhere else but here. The owner (?) or manager seemed much more interested in socializing with the "preferred" table with his friends by the front door rather than quality-checking food coming (slowly and coldly) out of the kitchen. My partner's food was ice cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. We heard the people sitting behind us send their food back twice to be reheated. Ordered a chalupa and got a chewy, fried shell with a spoonful of refried beans in it. I ordered the chicken fajita taco salad and found (5) tiny (I mean, like all five pieces fit on my fork for one bite) pieces of chicken in the entire bowl, which was basically nothing but sauteed peppers in a chewy taco salad bowl. I left most of my $13.50 dinner on the plate. Where is the kitchen manager? None of this stuff should've made it out the kitchen door. Service was super slow and the poor servers have to turn sideways to bring food out of the kitchen because the seating is backed right up to the kitchen entry. So many more things wrong about this place but you get the picture. On a positive note, the ice was cold. Maybe ownership should spend less time putting their name all over EVERYTHING (even the salt and pepper shakers) and more time paying attention to the experience their diners are having. El Arbol has absolutely nothing to worry about this place. We for sure will...

Well I need to write this review as a PSA. Last night while having a drink in the bar, a glass was knocked over the bar and glass shattered everywhere hitting my boyfriend. Thankfully he was not hurt however we were sitting very near the large and openly exposed ice bin. Glass shards had gone everywhere possibly landing in the ice. Since glass landed on and near us we were concerned that no one in the restaurant appeared to address possible glass shards in the ice bin directly next to where the glass shattered. This was disconcerting as the manager watched the whole glass breaking incident since he was sitting near us. He didn’t give any direction to staff to empty the ice bin. To make matters worse, while my boyfriend and I were drinking our drinks, we noticed something that seemed really unsanitary. The ice bin where there could have been shards of glass was also divided by a small metal divider and directly on the other side was the drink waste bin where servers were throwing the ice and straws of consumed drinks. It was totally a gross sight and doubtfully very sanitary. We should have mentioned this to staff but figured if the manager didn’t seem concerned, then we would just leave. I was really disappointed by the entire experience. This was our second try at this establishment and sadly less pleasant than the...
