Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Brighton

Dairy Queen is like a household name. Everyone knows of it so it makes it hardly worth reviewing. Nonetheless, I will still do my part. In the past, especially in the evenings, this restaurant is absolute madness! The lines, inside and outside, are long. Because of this and the constant need to take orders and attend to guests, keeping up with cleaning the dining room and checking on bathrooms can become a challenge. Luckily I did not dine at this time of day. I came here only to pick up a cake that was ordered. On this visit, the dining room was very clean, all items were well-stocked and organized. All the signs were working well and were clean. The employees' uniforms were clean and not disheveled or messy. The cashier was very friendly and waited while I checked my order over to be sure it was completely to my liking. Like many fast food restaurants, the parking area may not be as attended to. One thing I did notice, though, was that, at the dumpster, trash bags were in front of it instead of inside. The dumpster did not look so full as to prevent another bag from being put into it. Absolutely terrible, walked in at 9:30 am and I was the only person, instead of saying they could help me and make my day, they say we aren't open and that's pathetic, I was hoping for a delicious bizzard but I can't get cause of the ego of the company. Ruined my day completely cause all I wanted was a blizzard I haven't had for months! On the website it said they were open and the door was even open. Shameful, do not go cause if they won't make my day, they probably won't make your day. Honestly just get some Ice cream and chicken tender elsewhere, this is unacceptable and I'm never going to DQ again! I'm a banana split blizzard addict and if you are too, then prepare to be let down. If you find some pineapple or strawberries in your blizzard consider it a good day and if you actually are given banana chunks as required then consider it a lucky day and go buy a lotto ticket cause this place will never make it the way it should be. They don't mind charging you full price for a low budget product and I've asked for extra fixings and they will give u big pieces of banana that u have to cut up yourself and it's not like this happens occasionally, it's everytime.
